Trench II-// English version

Chapter 15

We finish eating and Josh and I make our way to the ruins, Jason still at my feet's. We walk down the hill, through the forest and the trench where there flows a little river. I can see from there the new Bandito town. It is surrounded by a wall, but there are pieces who are destroyed. At the entrance is also a convoy with the Bandito logo on it. We aren't in danger. We walk to the town and it is really big. A few of the houses are like new. At the end of the little town is a house that was restored, I guess that the cells are in there. A Bandito is guarding the door with a riffle. He let us pass and enter. It's surprising because there is nothing but a staircase to go down. Josh takes a torch and I follow him. We go downstairs and walk down an empty hallway, at the end of the way Josh put the torch away. At the end of this hallway are empty cells except for 9 of them, in each one of the 9 cells is a bishop in it. What am I doing here? I feel how a feeling of panic starts to grow, I don't know what to say, how to react. The cells are guarded by two bishops. Josh takes me to the cells where Nico is in. I don't understand how they can stay in a cell; they're supposed to be strong and being able to do things that we can't even imagine. Well, it's an opportunity to ask:

Josh: You want me to go?

Jason walk before me and sits down as if he is trying to protect me from Nico, impressive.

Tyler: No, stay please.

Josh: okay, he's all yours

Josh steps a few feet back leaning on the opposite wall.

Nico is behind bares and I'm still not satisfied, what's wrong with me?

Tyler: I found a picture, I wondered if this is really me?

I take the picture out of my pocket and show it to him.

Nico: Yes, it is you and Jason.

I flinched hearing his voice, I forgot how scary it was and still is, even if his behind those bars I feel like he could take me at any time.

Nico: I see he found you?

Tyler: yes, he did. About that, how come that Jason wasn't with me in Dema?

Nico: Cheetahs aren't allowed in Dema. He especially was a problem for our connection.

Tyler: What connection?

Nico: You're not ready to know.

I am ready to know. I have a right to know what he was planning to do to me with that connection!

Nico: You're still scared of me, even though I'm behind barres.

What...

Tyler: Who left me at the doors?

Nico: You have a lot of questions.

Josh: answer it

Nico: He

Tyler: Josh?

Josh: Me

Tyler: that's impossible

Nico: Not Joshua, his kind of people, the Bandito's

Josh: No way, I created this movement

Nico: That's where you are wrong Joshua

Josh: Don't call me that

Josh steps a bit forward watching every move Nico does.

Nico: You didn't create the Bandito's, but most certainly it was a Dun. It was your father. Your father created them, and you have to understand Joshua, he got in my way.

Josh: You killed my dad?

Nico: Sure, I did, and your mother oh your dear mother...

Josh was furious and sad at the same time, he stepped forward and was just inches away from the barres now.
