Chapter 7
Auram and Ningirsu were arguing.
"We should go north!" Ningirsu cried.
"I say south!" Auram yelled.
"East!" Ib added her opinion.
"Look." Ningirsu said. "To the west is we're the Krawlers made their home, to the south is deeper into the village, and to the east is the Mekknight's castle. Therefore, the only logical direction is north!"
"Ningirsu is correct." Lee said. "I can feel it in that direction."
"Fine." Auram said. "To the north."
* * * * * * * * * *
"Are we there yet?" Ib complained. "My feet are killing me."
"We've only been gone about a 1/2 hour." Ningirsu grumbled.
"At least Imduk is happy." Auram said.
Imduk was flying around and laughing happily and seemed to make Ib happy.
"He's so cute." Ib said.
Imduk also seemed to have a special connection to Ib. Whenever he wasn't flying around being happy he was in her arms, sleeping.
"Come on you slowpokes." Lee shouted. "I think I can see it!"
That's got the others running.
They were going so fast they didn't notice when a giant crater had appeared in front of them and Imduk fell in.
"Imduk!" Ib shouted. "I'm going after him." She declared and carefully made her way down the crater.
"Be careful!" Ningirsu shouted to her.
"Of course." Ib shouted back.
Auram and Ningirsu sat at the edge of the crater to wait for Ib to come back. (Oh, and Imduk too.)
"What are you guys doing?" Lee asked, coming up behind them."
"Waiting for Ib." Ningirsu replied.
"Guys!" Ib shouted. "I think I found something!"
Auram looked at Ningirsu and then quickly made his way down the slope.
He very quickly found his way and when he got to Ib, he saw what she had seen.
They had found, the first legacy.
