A lot of photo editing. I assumed the book was about some type of cryptic creature whether it be vampire or werewolf. They both like to bite. It's kind of their thing. I wanted the book cover to look like something I would see in stores. Sometimes I go the other route and do something out of the box but I was set on my ideals. I knew I wanted to incorporate cursive font since it's commonly romanticized. I lowered the opacity of the usernames so they wouldn't become the focal point. All the attention should go to the title of the story then the tag line while still complimenting the base picture. This is a recipe for the most successful covers.
