I didn't choose the emotion I looked up random emotion generator on Google. It gave me Awe. So I made a list of what I thought Awe would look like. I wanted to draw a girl because when I think of cute I think of either an anime girl or a blonde anime boy like Honey-Senpai or Momiji Sohma. I decided I definitely did not want to draw a boy.
Awe's definition is a feeling of "reverential respect mixed with fear or wonder" according to Google. I thought of giving her space eyes but I was too lazy to try. I decided that since I got Awe I could use "Awwww" too as a play on words. Which is why I went the cute route instead of all inspiring. I thought of Urakaka from My Hero Academia in my opinion she fits both. So I gave her Urakaka's cheek circles to reference her.
I thought about giving Awe a hat but at last I am a lazy artist even know I spent at 12 hours on this piece. I thought about going the Lolita route which I sort of did. I don't really know. I typed in Kawaii outfit on Pinterest and saw this adorable pastel sweater and used it for this character. The dress is my own concept I was just fiddling around with designs. If I had to name her instead of just calling her Awe, I would call her Aubrey Blanc. Which means White ruler. That seems really offensive now that I think about it. Oops.
