Precap..cabir and nandini convo... marriage discussion..

Another frustrating day passed and Nandini was now heading towards the Manik room.

She hated that man with great passion; arrogant and obnoxious bastard.

When she was climbing the stairs she heard Manik yelling.

No God let it not be Alia again!

As panic rushed through her veins she steadily climbed stairs.

When she opened the door her heart fell to the ground at the sight.

Manik was standing and Alia was on her knees clinging onto his feet like a koala. There was an old man  sitting beside the bed. Manik was barking profanities and was continuously trying to shake her off. Alia was crying and shaking badly. Nandini immediately leapt  forward and pried her away from Manik.

Alia again broke free from Nandini’s hold and ran towards Manik.

This time Manik pushed Alia harshly into the wall.

Nandini had enough.

“Can’t you just stop?”

Both Alia and Manik were startled at her reaction.

Manik turned towards Nandini in anger. He had a red face and he was panting wildly. He raised his hand. Nandini stepped back. She was intimidated but never showed any weakness.

“What will you hit me as well now? Come try me, I am not Alia…”

Before Manik could do anything a voice interrupted them

“Put your hand down Manik…”

Manik turned while gritting his teeth with a questioning look,

“ …don’t make me repeat myself boy. This girl does not know anything. I never taught you to hurt someone.”

Manik struggled back to bed. Nandini was still shocked. She was white with fear. The strength in her legs left and she collapsed on the floor.

“Please take Alia and leave this room.”
Nandini nodded at this command from an anonymous man. She stood up and basically dragged Alia out of the room. Alia kept pleading on the top of her voice

“Please marry me Manik”

Sometimes life gives you such a cringe situation that you
don’t know whom to blame.

Nandini felt sorry for both Alia and Manik but one had to surrender.

This useless battle of ego can’t go on anymore. Nandini brought Alia
outside.
Alia cried and cried. Nandini held her as tightly and warmly as she could.
