Nobody (A Hozier Fanfiction)

Chapter 14 "You need to get a life..."

"Hello Caroline, anything I can do for you?" Kira answered her phone,

"Hi Kira, are you with Andrew?" She asked,

"No, actually we haven't seen each other for like 3 or 4 days? Maybe he's just busy writing," Kira replied while looking at her window to see if there's any sign of Andrew in his house,

"Oh, can you kindly check if he's home? He's not answering any of us," Caroline said that makes Kira nervous,

"Okay Caroline, got it, I'll hit you when I found him," 

Kira's POV

"Andrew? Andrew! Open this damn door!" I yelled while banging his front door, "Andrew! For cheese sake! If you don't open this door-" I was cut off when the door opens and a hellishly looking Andrew appeared in front of me, but how the hell can he still look hot?

"What Kira?" Oh! so no "Love" anymore? 

"Good day to you Hozier," I mockingly said, annoyed at how he called me, I entered his house and was welcome by scattered papers, the smell of coffee and mugs, tons of mugs everywhere,

"You need to get a life, people outside are worried about you," I scolded him calmly while getting all the cups and putting it on the sink. When I get back to the living room he's absorbed again in one of his journals. It took a while to collect all of his papers from the floor and tables but he didn't say a word as if I don't exist,

"Have you eaten yet?" I asked from the kitchen, checking his fridge, "Good Lord, forgive me for I have sinned, I think I might kill a 6'5 guy specifically named Hozier," I hastily went to Andrew and stand in front of him,

"Andrew! Can you at least take a break," Man, I feel like her mom for acting like this,

"Love, I can't," So he's calling me "Love" again? 

"Take a day off for today, have you seen yourself? You need to eat Andrew, you're losing weight," I dragged him to his bedroom, "Here, have a hot bath, take your time while I prepare some food okay?" That was easy, no fuzz and no complains,

"Kira, any update?" Caroline asked on the phone,

"Well, I told him to take a day off first, I'm preparing food as of now," I replied while mashing the potatoes,

"Thank you Kira, take care of him okay?" Caroline says in her calming voice,

"I will, you don't even have to say it," then we bid goodbye. I went to Andrew's room to invite him for the meal when I noticed that he's in deep slumber now.

I waited for him in the living room while reading one of his poetry books and drinking some tea. Now I know why he is a well-spoken lad and why all of his songs sounded like poems. I was deeply emerged with Seamus Heaney's book when Andrew walked into the living room and take the seat beside me.

"How was your slumber Sleeping Beauty?" I questioned him still reading the book, he scoots closer, carried me and seated me in his lap, snuggling his head at the crook of my neck and both arms around my waist,

"I'm reading Andrew," I whined acting all annoyed, but my hearts in festive!

"Let's stay like this for a mo' till I'm fully awake," he murmurs in my neck, this man is really driving me crazy, I was starting to read the book again when I felt Andrew nibbling my neck, nope! 

"Okay, you're fully awake now," I said and hurriedly went to the cooker,

"Is there anything wrong?" Andrew asked when he entered the kitchen,

"What? Nothing," I answered and served our food on the table, "Eat," I said and we started eating in silence,

I can see that Andrew keeps on giving me glances through our dinner but I ignored it and when I finished my meal, I start washing all the dishes in the sink,

"Ehm... you don't have to do that, I'll take care of it," Andrew says and washed his hands, "I'm sorry if Caroline bothered you,"

"Nah, it's fine," I replied and smiled at him but he broke his eye contact,  

"Okay, I'll go home, Oh! and I charge your phone you should inform them that you're fine," I replied but before I reached the door, Andrew carried me in his shoulder and brought me to his room,

"Andrew Hozier-Byrne! If you don't put me down this instant- ahh!!" I was surprised when he dropped me off in his bed, "What the bloody hell is wrong with you?!" I yelled as I can feel that I'm turning red from anger, 

He didn't answer me instead he starts to ruffle his hair out of frustration, "Leave,"

"What?" I asked confusedly,

"I said leave!" He yelled looking at me, disbelief is written in my face,

"You are impossible!" I shouted feeling my tears on the verge of falling, "I-I, you're such an arse!" 

"Just leave Kira," He says and turned his back at me,

"You don't have to repeat it, I will, for good!" I said and stormed out of his house,

It's done, my business is done here.
