Chapter 16 "Oh, hey, Uhm... Hi?"

Kira and Andrew haven't talked for the past few months but they do wave and nod or even smile whenever they bumped or see each other, both trying to shrug the longing in every engagement that they had.

Kira keeps in touch with Raine and spent time at the Bryne's abode or Raine's gallery sometimes, even though Raine knows that Andrew and Kira have cut their communication.

"Raine? Can I cook something for dinner? It's the least thing I can do for always crashing at your home," Kira says as she entered Raine's studio, 

"Totally fine sweetheart," Raine answered and continued with her art,

Kira was preparing the dinner when she felt someone walked into the kitchen, not even bothering to look,

"Dinner's almost ready, I hope you all like chicken pot pie?" She turned and was surprised to see Andrew, "Oh, hey, Uhm... Hi?" my minds not working so well,

"Ehm... Hi, nice to see you again," He answered scratching his head, they just looked at each other trying to communicate,

"Andy, join us for dinner and help me arrange the table," They broke their gaze when Raine entered the kitchen,

At the dining...

"Is she always here?" Andrew hushedly asked her mother while bringing the plates,

"Yes, what happened Andy? the pretty lass has been picking up pieces of herself, I'm just lucky that I convince her to visit me and your dad from time to time," Raine answered and looked at his son, she can see the regrets and longing in his eyes,

"It's ehm... complicated mum, I-" He was cut when Raine spoke,

"Andy you don't have to explain, you're an adult and I didn't raise you like this, fix everything that needs to be done," Raine answered him just before Kira served their dinner.

Kira's POV

"The dinner's really good, I hope you visit us always Kira," John says after finishing his dinner,

"I will John, you don't even have to say it, don't you know that I've been dating your wife for like months now? She's the sweetest," I jokingly remark and they laugh, Andrew also chuckles.

"Kira, you stay for the night," Raine stated when I start to gather my things,

"A-Andrew's here, I-I can't take his room," I stutter knowing that Andrew can hear us,

"We can share, ehm... you take the bed I take the floor," he stated emerging from the living room, then Raine looked at me hoping that I would agree,

"O-okay," I answered, 

"Well then, Good night my lovelies, rest well both of you," then she kissed us both in the cheeks,

In the bedroom...

"I can sleep on the couch downstairs, you know?" I commented when we entered the bedroom,

"Mom will butcher me if I let you sleep there," he slightly chuckles, and I was struck when I remembered that I didn't bring my own clothes,

"I know this will be the most embarrassing thing, I should've gone home, for cheese's sake-," I was interrupted by Andrew,

"What is it?" He asked looking quizzically at me,

"CanIborrowapairofsweatshirtandpj's?" 

"Sorry?" F*ck!

"Can I borrow a pair of sweatshirt and pj's?" I asked looking at the ground,

"Yeah ehm... absolutely fine," He answered then starts to rummage his drawers, "Here, I hope it'll fit," and he handed me the clothes,

I change into his sweatshirt and just leave the pj's behind, Why? the sweatshirt is too long, it falls right above my knees and I'm wearing cyclings don't worry,

Andrew was getting some sheets and pillows from his cabinet when I went out, he looks at me but immediately turns,

"Thanks for this, I looked like a rapper from the 90's" I commented and chuckled at my own joke,

We were laying, me on the bed and him on the floor, I was trying to sleep when he spoke,

"How are you?" He asked,

"Uhm... I'm fine, I guess? Raine keeps on inviting me for last-minute dinner or stroll which I really love, she's treating me nicely like her own," I replied and smiles as I remember all the things Raine does for me,

"That's good to know, thank you as well for taking care of my folks," He says,

"Nah, I love them too, How 'bout ye? How's music?" I asked even though Caroline calls me sometimes and constantly slipping information about Andrew,

"Ehm... It's been hectic but good but eh... I feel like I'm overworking the band," He stated worry's present in his voice, 

"You are not BFG anymore," I jokingly remark then he chuckles,

"Then who am I right now?" He asked expectantly,

"You're the Bossy Giant now," I said and peek my head to see him looking up at me as well,

"I-I missed this Kira," He says and sits up to meet me eye level, 

"Yeah, Uhm... me too?" I answered and he closed the gap between us by kissing me,

I missed this a lot, he's the missing part that I keep on ignoring,

Andrew pulled Kira and she fell on top of him,

"Andrew! Are you okay?" Kira asked conscious at the position they are in, she tried to sit back up but Andrew tightly hugged her, "Andrew, Raine might see us like this," 

"Let's stay like this please Love, those months without you was just agonizing,"  Andrew replied,

"Well we can actually get in the bed, Andrew the floors cold," I was climbing the bed when Andrew flip me over and pushed me in the bed,

"Are you doing this on purpose Love?" he asked sternly looking at me as if he's trying to suppress something,

"What?" I asked,

"I might lose control Love," He says and starts to massage my thigh then he rests his forehead on mine breathing heavily, that's when I realized what he's talking about,

"I-I, you're PJ's i-is too big-"
