Redemption

Part 02

"Catch that Devil!  Dead or alive!" A general shout when he and his army walk through the forest. They had one mission: To kill Bai Qi.

After the dark castle destroyed and Wen Rounan beheaded.  Everyone who lived in the dark castle was also killed, none were left alive. Both adults and children.  But their general, Bai Qi managed to escape. King Hua Zheng Bao ordered his army to find Bai Qi and kill him.

The expedition was led by a general named Fu Shen Xing.  He is the best war general owned by this kingdom.  Fu Shen Xing was also King Hua Zheng Bao's favorite general and also King Hua Zheng Bao's future son-in-law because he had an arranged marriage to King Hua Zheng Bao's son.  One of the keys to their success in destroying the dark castle wass because of Fu Shen Xing's war strategy.

Bai Qi was hiding inside a dark cave.  He could not walk further because his body was injured.  He did not know why the wound had not healed, Bai Qi managed to escape when they captured Wen Rounan.  Now, everyone was hunted Bai Qi.  They had found a weapon that could make Bai Qi injured.  There wasn't much Bai Qi could do other than meditate.  But he heard the faint sound of footsteps of an army.  Bai Qi knew that the army was the army that was chasing him.  It's time for Bai Qi to run away again.

Limping, Bai Qi ran in the opposite direction of the army.  As much as possible Bai Qi did not make a sound.  But unfortunately a wild animal made the army that hunted Bai Qi finally realized Bai Qi's whereabouts.

"General Fu!  He is there!" A soldier shout to his general

"I see him, go catch him!  He's injured so he can't run fast!" The general said and started chase the devil.

Bai Qi ran while occasionally stabbing the soldier near him with his sword.  Bai Qi continued to run until finally he stopped because there was no way anymore. There was only a deep cliff, but Bai Qi could hear the sound of the river at the bottom of the cliff.

"You can't run away anymore!  Surrender now or I will kill you" Fu Shen Xing pointed his sword "You know that our weapons can kill you right?"

"Give up?  Haha" Bai Qi laughed evilly "That will never happen" with that, Bai Qi jumped into a cliff.  Of course he was not afraid.  Weapons from the army that can kill him, but if he is injured due to fall, the wound will heal itself.

"Let's go to the bottom of the cliff!" Fu Shen Xing ordered.

The swift river current carried Bai Qi's body to a distant place.  Of course that would make Bai Qi stall for time and move away from the reach of Fu Shen Xing and his army.  After being carried by the current for some time, Bai Qi finally arrived at a calmer river.  He then rose to the surface and looked around.  There was no one there.

Bai Qi was still in the forest but now he was in a forest that was brighter and more beautiful.  This forest was very beautiful, compared to his old hiding place.  Bai Qi saw many white rabbits living freely there.  Even though Bai Qi's hiding place was previously surrounded by wild animals.  Well, a rabbit can be his dinner, Bai Qi thought.  Then he took one rabbit, when he was about to kill the rabbit a man suddenly shouted.

"DON'T !!!"

Bai Qi who was shocked suddenly swung his sword and pointed his sword towards the other man.  Bai Qi knew that many people were hunting him right now so he could not let his guard down.  The man was very scared when Bai Qi's sword was only a few centimeters from his neck.

"Don't ...  kill .. the ... rabbit!" That man talked slowly, he gulped and raised his hands. "I'm ...  not .. a bad .. person .. "

"Who are you?" Bai Qi snapped
