Part 09

After taking a shower, Shen Wei took a chance to explore his new bedroom. He was in a good mood especially after he had a talk with Zhao Yunlan earlier. He had to admit that he fell in love with the devil but he couldn’t help it. Zhao Yunlan told him that he would learn to love his as Shen Wei, not as Wuxie. To be honest Shen Wei wasn’t sure that he is Wuxie. Who would anyway? People tend to forget their past when they reborn. Sure that Shen Wei had this power but if he still has his powers then maybe his memories still lingers too. But why he doesn’t remember anything, even just a single moment?

Shen Wei didn’t want to ruin this momentum so he decided to keep his thought for himself. He didn’t want Zhao Yunlan to love him because he is Wuxie. It was a good start when Zhao Yunlan said that he would learn, better for Shen Wei not to mention Wuxie during this process. It wasn’t like Shen Wei wanted to get rid of Wuxie, after all Wuxie was the part of Zhao Yunlan’s past and he didn’t have the right to make Zhao Yunlan forget Wuxie completely. But what Zhao Yunlan been through so far wasn’t good at all, at least in Shen Wei’s point of view. He’d been grieving for so long, was it for hundreds years now? Shen Wei loved this man too much until the point he couldn’t hold it anymore and wanted this devil to get back on his feet. To have his own life back and to moving forward, Shen Wei hated this loop and he would break it, no matter what.

Shen Wei couldn’t stop smiling when he remembered what Da Qing said about this bedroom, Zhao Yunlan prepared all of this by himself, this was a perfect room for sure. More that he imagined. This also a sign that Zhao Yunlan wanted to move on. Somehow Shen Wei could feel The devil’s love even just from this bedroom. Shen Wei decided to get out of his room and went downstairs. The first time that he saw was Da Qing nagging at Zhao Yunlan who was busy cooking.

“Good Morning!” Shen Wei greeted

“Oh, Xiao Weiwei” Da Qing turned to see Shen Wei and then pulled his hand “Good thing that you are here, please help me!”

“Help you with what?” Shen Wei frowned

“That devil boss!” Da Qing pointed Zhao Yunlan “I can lose my job if he keeps taking initiative to do this and that. Yesterday with your bedroom now with cooking! You know he never done this before. He rather not to eat if there is no one serves him!”

“Really? But once he cooked noodle for me, on your birthday. Remember?”

“Exactly! Since he met you he always took initiative! Do you think that my boss is trying to please you?” Da Qing asked “I need to read a book to find out. Trust me, boss never like this before”

“You said as if what he done was wrong. I mean it’s totally normal if you want to cook or clean your bedroom right?” Shen Wei said “And look! He is enjoying this!”

“For human, of course it’s normal. But for a devil like him? He has no heart except for Wuxie you know!” Da Qing snapped “Even when he was still with Wuxie, he told me that he rarely show any expression! But look at him now, cutting vegetable while smiling non stop!”

“Zhao Yunlan is a human too!”

“Xiao Weiwei” Da Qing looked at Shen Wei with disbelief “You are the first person that say he is a human”

“Because I look at him as human and you’re a human too” Shen Wei said “Da Qing, you can’t have a normal life if you still think that you are different from the others. Don’t you get tired of this all? Don’t you want to be like the others? Fall in love, get heartbreak, be happy, mad, sad or pain. Have you ever dream about having someone that will accompany you for the rest of your life, build a house with them, have a kid and grow old together?”
