Redemption

Part 07

It was a bright day, even the birds chirped very melodious, at least that what Shen Wei thought when he got out of his apartment building.  Lately Shen Wei's mood was in a good state, sure that because of his new daily activity without work and media but also he had another reason to be happy too.  He actually didn't understand why a single person could brighten his mood like this.  Maybe because they reconciled and decided to have a better relationship, as a friend of course.

They had been talking a lot lately, teased each other and spent a day together, getting to know each other.  And Shen Wei could say that Zhao Yunlan wasn't as bad as he thought even with his never ending bad jokes or awkward situation.  Actually that was kinda fun for Shen Wei, Zhao Yunlan is a unique person, sometimes he acted like an old man but another time he acted like an awkward teenager trying to befriend with someone and one thing that Shen Wei likes about Zhao Yunlan is his honesty. When Zhao Yunlan didn't like it then he would say it.  When he didn't like what Shen Wei said or did he also would say it.  Not like the other people that Shen Wei used to know, they always praised him no matter what, but turned out they always talked behind his back.  So yeah, having a new friend like Zhao Yunlan was actually a good thing for Shen Wei.

This morning Shen Wei had a plan witj  Zhao Yunlan.  They want to celebrate Da Qing's birthday.  More precisely giving a surprise to Da Qing.  Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan will make a small party.  Shen Wei waited for Zhao Yunlan to pick him up in front of his apartment building.  The other man called him that he will arrive soon.  When Shen Wei was waiting for Zhao Yunlan, suddenly a group of men and women came to him.  Shen Wei was a little confused, he did not know these people, and they also did not look like his fans because Shen Wei could see their angry faces.  They stood around Shen Wei.

"What do you want from me?"  Shen Wei asked them

"Nothing" a woman replied

"Then what is this?  What are you doing?"

"We just want to tell you, Shen Wei. How could you fool us with your innocence look?  We bought all the things that you were endorsed, we went to your show, we watched all your tv shows, turned out we idolized a cheap artist who sold his body freely just to get a main role"

"Did I make it clear? It wasn't true at all.  Did I make a conference about it?"  Shen Wei defended himself

"Do you think that we believe?  If that wasn't true how could you get fired and then you left your career?"  The other man said

"Well, that's my choice not because of that fake scandal" Shen Wei said "I don't know what's the problem with you, I don't care. You want to bully me then go ahead.  I will just simply ignore you"

"You! Instead of trying to win your heart fans, you chose to be like this. Ha!  Cheap artist, no wonder a lot of your fans turned to be your haters now. Well, good luck for that Shen Wei"

"Whatever, as I said I don't care.  I know that I'm right so that it's all the matter" Shen Wei rolled his eyes "Go find another artist to worship. Don't bother me anymore"

"You are really have a thick face. Have you realized that a lot of people also bully you on the internet? "

"So what?"  Shen Wei challenged them

"Not only slept with the director, you also seduced a business man, Zhao Yunlan, that's what people said on the internet" A man said

"Huh" one of the women chuckled "such a shameless slut, what did you do?  Offered him your body again?  How many time you get fucked?"

"I can't believe an innocent artist has a dark and disgusting side too, turned out he is a slut.  So embarrassing" another woman looked at Shen Wei "Why do you keep silent? Do you agree with us?"
