flashback mini chapter::
couple hours after wooyoungs house

san had walked inside the house at 3am. his grandmother was sound asleep but there his mother was sitting at the dining room table with her arms crossed.

"where were you?" she asked. san sat down across from her. "wooyoungs house to fix things." he saw his mom side glance him for him to continue.

"me and him are soulmates and i never cared because it wasn't something i was used to. it was like he was slowly dying. i had to see him. his tattoo was gone by the time i left and i googled what had happened. it's still there so i still have hope. we have to stay here so i can be with him." his mother looked at him wide eyed.

"we aren't staying here all because of a soulmate. you have school at home and i have work. you cant even use korean without yeosang being here!" she said slightly raising her voice. san looked at her with sad eyes.

"you're only mad because you're not with dad anymore, how about you tell me what happened?" he said looking her in the eye. she had always refused this question, avoided it at any cost. she was against soulmates and seeing san want to stay here just for a boy made her feel mad.

"we aren't staying here that's final." she said standing up and headed to the room. san sat there and sighed. he had plans of seeing wooyoung tomorrow hoping his marks would be better. he felt happy yeosang convinced him. he owed it all to him and hongjoong.

he walked into his room and fell asleep hoping wooyoungs tattoo would be there when he went back.
