(y/n) stood beside Kou who is currently crouching down outside of his class window, staring at Hanako who was somehow nearby. She had been crouching down as well, until she realized that there's no point in doing so because she's a ghost and nobody could see her. Her (e/c) orbs focused on Kou with a mix of curiosity and amusement. Is this the 'something' that he wants to prove to Teru-kun...?

Unaware of (y/n)'s gaze on him, Kou continued to crawl after Hanako, examining the supernatural's every move.

I'm gonna stick to him like glue all day... and find proof that he's not a bad supernatural! Surely, if I did, I'll be doing (y/n)-senpai a favor, too! But man, this guy...

(y/n) followed Kou's gaze, and her eyebrows frowned immediately. What is the No. 7 doing?

Hanako was wearing a piece of clothing that covers his mouth from over his head, and he carried a huge furoshiki-styled bag on his shoulders. He rummaged through the bag and jumped a few times, as if trying to reach something higher than his own height. Then he continued with poking the ceiling with a long stick that came out of nowhere.

(y/n) and Kou watched him with an exasperated look on their faces.

He's so suspicious...what the hell is he doing?

Kou moved to get a closer look at Hanako, his hands rustling the bushes where he hid as he stood up. (y/n) peeked inside the classroom to see if someone heard Kou, and she immediately pulled the younger boy back to his hiding place when one of Kou's classmates showed up on the window.

"Is someone there?"

Both (y/n) and Kou held their breaths as they heard the glass window being opened, and sighed in relief as soon as they heard it shut again.

"Be careful, Kou-kun!" (y/n) scolded the younger boy as if she were his older sister. "If they found you, you'll definitely get detention for skipping class!"

"Yeah... I should be more careful... by the way, thank you for saving me, (y/n)-senpai..."

Kou looked as if he was about to say something else一 probably about why he decided to skip class to spy on Hanako一 but he ceased when he felt a finger poking his cheek. He jumped in surprise as he looked at the source of the sudden touch.

"Whatcha guys doin'?" Hanako floated upside down beside Kou, his expression cheerful and innocent as if he'd done nothing suspicious. (y/n) looked back and forth between the two of them and decided to explain the whole situation because Kou doesn't seem to have any interest in doing so.

"You're spying on me to see if I'm doing anything bad?" asked Hanako as soon as (y/n) finished explaining. Then he continued with a mocking tone. "You're skipping class, just for me. Such passion!"

Kou's cheeks flushed in embarrassment. "It's not for you! I'm doing it to reveal your evil deeds!"

(y/n) tried to conceal her giggle. He's embarrassed... so cute...

"Just gimme that!" Kou snatched the furoshiki bag from Hanako and opened it, only to see some stuff that belonged to students in the school, like textbooks and lunchboxes. He stared at them for a good five seconds, dumbfounded, before slowly looking up towards the School Mystery No. 7 with a questioning look as if saying 'stolen goods...?'.

"It's not what you think. The mokke took them," Hanako explained calmly with a tired expression. "I had Yashiro change the rumor... but I still can't get 'em to shake their thieving habits. So every once in a while, I collect everything that seems valuable... and take it all back to their owners.

"The mokke like to hide their trophies all over the place, so I'm looking everywhere," Hanako patted one of the mokke's head as he explained, and it replied him with a 'but stealin's fun!'. "Geez, you guys... It's always been their nature. Cut them some slack."
