It was a Thursday afternoon and Maya was busy with just some last minute stuff for getting ready for work.
She does know that she has been pretty MIA the last few weeks but she did need to get everything in order.
She knew it wasn't all about the time that she had but that she had to get herself ready for the journey.
Maya was busy getting her last things ready when she heard a knock on the door.
"You will worry untio your death about me," Maya said as Josh went inside.
"Where have you been the last two weeks?" Josh asked.
"Resting. The accident got a nasty hold on me so I decided to take it easy. Today was the first time I actually got out of bed since Riley's birthday. What you doing here? Checking up on me?" Maya asked.
"Something different actually. About us," Josh said and Maya looked at him.
"Josh, how will that work out?" Maya asked.
"Maya, do you remember what I said when I regained my memory?" Josh asked and Maya went back to when he did say that sentence to her.
You are the girl that I love so much that I dropped my engagement with Brooke.
I'll never give up on us. Not until there really is no hope.
Maya looks at Josh as she exhales.
"Yes, I do. But it is because of that why I am afraid. Josh, what if nothing works out? What then? I don't want to see how my life is going to go downhill after I make a decision like that," Maya said.
"I love you and I always will. I won't stop," Josh said.
"And what about your ex-fiancé?" Maya asked.
"Forget about Brooke. She isn't a factor anymore," Josh said.
"Give me a few days to think," Maya said.
