+Late Morning: Red Kingdom+

"Come on now you highness... this ball could help you."

The Red King pinches the bridge of his nose and sets his reports down on the table next to his throne. "Honestly Pat, I don't see the point of this ball just to help me find a partner. It's not like I'll find someone who'll just click with me. This isn't some fairy tale," He say unamused. "Anyways, you know you can call me by my name right. Formalities with me don't need to be used when it's just us along with Pau."

Pat, the king's main servant, sighs as he set his king's new pile of papers next to him on the side table to look at. "Tord, I'm serious."

"I'm serious too Pat." Tord says back as he picks up a new set of papers to review.

"You better listen to him Tord, you know how Pat gets." A new voice said joining them in the throne room.

The two of them look to the new person in the room, a man with bushy brows and brunet hair wearing elite knight armor for those who deserve their title.

"Pau, how nice of you to join us. I was just telling Tord here about planning for a ball."

"A ball for disaster might I say. He wants me to find a queen."

Pau laughs as he hits the chest of his armor. "Well I apologize Tord but I have to agree with him. Having a person you can love and help you makes life seem a little more easier. Not to mention I'd love to meet the person who melts you cold heart."

His King was always known for being the Cold Hearted King. They're Kingdom is popular sure once Tord took place as King, but he always has this stoic expression on his face. Never smiling, only smirking once and a while when things went his way.

Tord groans as he throws his papers forward scattering them. Pat doesn't really mind as he goes to pick them up and order them properly.

"Fine, I'll inform the castle planners to organize a ball."

Paul laughs again while Pat's eyes are starry. "Tord can I please handle the invitations."

"Fine, go ahead." Tord says letting his main servant control the invitations. He knows it's a bad idea, however he trusts Pau a lot so it shouldn't be too bad...

Right?

+Green Kingdom: Orphanage+

"Tom! Tom!"

A child giggles as they run up to the man name Tom. They have sandy brown hair, fair skin, and black eyes; truly a unique trait he shares with one other person. Such as this child as they come to hug Tom's leg.

"Oh, Tomi." Tom says softly seeing it's his little brother.

Tomi is a little replica of him actually. Their parents were surprised he looked the same as him after he was born. Tomi of course took great pride in looking like his older brother, even sharing the same base name, add the Junior at the end, but Tomi prefers to go by 'Tomi' because he thinks it's cuter.

Tom picks his brother up and hold him close. "I thought you were with Tika?"

"Miss Lovely asked her to help deliver something today. So she had to leave a little earlier." Tomi tells him sadly.

Kissing the boy's cheek to cheer him up, Tom then said, "Don't worry Tomi, I'm sure Tika will come back soon so you two could play more. How about I treat you to lunch at the café just down the road?"

"Yes! I wanna spend more time with you Tom!" Tomi exclaims as he nuzzles his cheek against his brother's who laughs. He loves spending so much time with his brother.

But because he's eighteen now, he doesn't need to live in the orphanage anymore. His brother actually lives in a comfy midsized home that is enough to fit four. Tom works as a messenger for the Green Kingdom's palace. So he often travels a lot to get mail to their rightful destination within the Green Kingdom. Long distance mail given to him to send is not fairly often, only once a month having to leave his brother in the care of the orphanage for a few days.

The ladies of the orphanage are kind enough to make sure Tomi doesn't get picked up by any of the people looking to adopt. Once a family tired to, even going farther to argue, but the ladies of the orphanage can be really scary when they put their foot down. That's why their orphanage is one of the best in the kingdom in concerns to safety of the children living there.

"Ah that reminds me." Tom sets Tomi down on his feet so he could pull something out from his messenger bag. He squats down and holds two items.

The one in his left hand is a letter, the right hand holding a bear doll. "Tomee Bear's come to stay with you for a few days again."

Tomi tilts his head, eyes glancing to the letter in his big brother's hand. "You have another long trip again?"

"Yeah, but Edd's letting me borrow another horse again to make the trip faster. So if the weather plays fair, I might make it back early in time for the festival."

The Green Festival, a big event held once a year to celebrate the making of this kingdom. Usually the king and his family would come out of their castle to join them in the event. A family of artists happily decorating the town along participating in events they wish to be in. Since the current king has no family as of yet, he'll be the one doing the usual with a cheerful smile as usual.

He's calls the King of Kindness for a reason.

Just the presence of the current King with them makes everyone smile. He's never rude and always tries to settle conflict in a peaceful manner. Although he can be childish at times which make his citizens laugh or roll their eyes.

"Then we can go to the festival together?!" Tomi started getting excited for the days to come. "Can we bring Tika with us too?"

Tom nods, "Of course." He hands Tomee Bear to Tomi who hugs the bear tightly. "Until then be nice and listen to the ladies of the orphanage, okay?"

"Yay!" Tomi giggles, a melody to his older brother's ears

Tom holds his hand out to Tomi, "Now let's go enjoy some food at that cafe. I'm starving!"

Tomi happily holds his brother's hand as they start to walk side by side. His other hand holding the bear by the arm.

The light haired brunet places the important letter safely back into his messenger bag.

'I hope I don't get stopped a lot on the ways to the Red Kingdom.'
