Whats the wait..?

Kokichi's POV

I've been waiting for about 10 minutes. No sign of Kiibo-kun or Shumai. I'm starting to get worried...

Most of the people left the dining hall, all who is left is me, Himiko, Tenko, and Miu.
Himiko and Tenko were sitting down at a table talking, and Miu was throwing all her trash away and bringing dishes to the kitchen where Kirumi was cleaning up.

I wait with dried tears on my face.
It's now been about 15 minutes and still no sign. Not even Kaito.
Worry fills the pit of my stomach.
What if something happened to Shumai?
What if Kaito did something?!

I quickly stand up and walk out the room. I need to find Shumai. You can't leave me..
Please don't leave me!

I sprint around the halls, checking everywhere I could. Until I stumble upon an open door.

Kaito's dorm.
I slow down, and walk slowly towards the opened door.
I peek inside and I can't believe what I see...

Blood.

I see blood.

I freeze up.
I quickly back up, into the opposite wall.
Shumai...
No...
Shumai!!
I slide to the floor with tears in my eyes.
I take a shaky breath

"HELP! S-SOMEONE!"
I immediately see out of the corner of my eye Maki, running towards me.
"Ouma.. you're not playing games are you? What's wrong."

I lift my shaking hand, and point to Kaito's dorm.
Maki swiftly walks over, and looks inside.
I can see a shocked expression, but quickly covered up.
I see Himiko and Tenko rush over.
Both of them also see what's happening.

I quickly rush over to look into the room.

What I see is terrifying.

"A body has been discovered! Please make your way to Kaito Momota's Dorm!"
Although the voice blasted over the speakers, it seemed fuzzy.
I can't believe what's in front of my eyes.

I see both Kaito and Shumai on the floor. Blood is puddling.
I look a little to the left to see Kiibo standing, watching over.
I examine him, and see blood on him.
I shift my eyes back to Kaito and Shuichi. I can't tell who is bleeding out, they are so close together.
I feel tears building up in my eyes.

Please... not Shumai.
Anyone but Shumai.
I quickly push past everyone and kneel next to Shumai, not caring if I get blood on my pants.
I can't lose him.

A cough breaks my trance. I look down to see Shumai awake, clutching his throat and coughing.

"Shumai!" I yell through the tears running down my face.

He's alive...
I quickly help him up, he's leaning most of his weight on my so it's quite hard to keep him up.
I look to see more and more people arriving.

So..
I shift my eyes to the floor.
Kaito Momota.
Is dead.

But first I need to help Shumai.
I quickly help him sit on the bed.
"Shumai? Hey... are you okay? What happened?"

Shumai opened his mouth as if he was about to speak, but instead came out a series of awful coughs.
I'm really worried now.
My eyes drift to Shuichi's neck, where he was clutching.
I softly move his hand out of the way, and see his neck slowly turning purple with a hand-shaped bruise.

"Shumai..." I whisper.

I look back to see everyone watching in silence, Maki kneeling next to Kaito having an expression of not knowing what to do, and Kiibo in the corner, a frightened look on his face, staring at his hands.

What even happened here.
Kaito is Dead.
Shumai is injured.
Kiibo is suspicious. Definitely.
