❥Chapter 11

"(Y/n), what's going on?" Your turn your head the other way to see a confused Tom making his way to you, Annie seemed startled when she saw him and started to walk away as fast as she could. "Don't tell me you were about to confront Annie?" He asks.

Your furrowed your eyebrows and looked where Annie was only to see nothing, she was gone already and you couldn't tell where she went, you turn to Tom and looked at him in disbelief, "well yeah! I wanted to know why she dropped her food on me for!"

"You do know it was gonna make things worse right?" Tom asks once again, it made you stop for a second. He was right if you confronted Annie it would make the rumors true that you were actually hurting others for no reason.

You sigh and shake your head, "yeah you're right... I'm sorry." You look the other way and to your surprise Helen was there, just standing and watching you, he probably watched your little show.

"Well then, be careful next time, I'm going somewhere with Aiden so please be careful next time." Tom pats your shoulder as he walks towards Aiden who was waiting on him.

Though now that you were alone you took this opportunity to walk towards Helen, maybe have a little chat with him and apologize for not saying anything after leaving the class.

"Hi, Helen." You say as you smile at him, he didn't say anything and just smiled at you back, "I'm guessing you watched the whole thing back there?" You ask, a hint of embarrassment coming from your voice.

"Yeah I did, I heard your voice and I got curious to see what was going on," he looks at you confused, "I'm guessing you were trying to confront her?"

You look down and nod, he also knew what you were about to do, of course your little idea was gonna cause so much trouble. You just stayed quiet.

Though you quickly turn around as you hear a small chuckle beside you, confused you turn around only to see Helen smiling and covering his nose, "sorry, you still smell like soy sauce from here." Your eyebrows shot up almost to your hairline, realizing that you still had that smell on you, you quickly move away from Helen your cheeks heating up from the sudden reminder.

You softly punch Helen out of embarrassment, "why did you have to remind me?!" He couldn't help but laugh more at your embarrased state making him turn away from you as he covered his mouth with his hand to stop laughing.

You also couldn't help but laugh a bit, finding his laugh contagious, then that small laugh turned into a long one, snorting here and there and bumping into each other as Helen still made fun of you for smelling funny.

You sigh of relief when you finally get home, now you were ready to take a shower and get that smell off of you.

As you changed you couldn't help but smile at the thought of Helen laughing and making jokes about you, it was a funny thought, you lay down on your bed as you keep replaying that little moment over and over again.

His smile really brightened your evening.

As hours passed you still couldn't sleep so you decided to grab a book from your shelf and start reading it, though as much as you wanted to distract yourself with the book you couldn't help but look back at Annie's face when Tom arrived to the scene, she looked terrified.

You slowly close the book, your eyebrows furrowed at the thought that Tom might have done something?

"Good morning, (Y/n)!" You were greeted by Aiden who quickly puts his arm around shoulders, his smile more brighter than usual.

"Good morning," you respond, "you look very cheerful today, did something happen?" You ask and tilt your head as you looked at Aiden.

Aiden shook his head as he kept smiling, "no I just felt very energetic today," he laughs softly as he looks down on the floor, letting go of you, "so ready to start the day? You better stop skipping so many classes." He nudges you gently as he made that joke.

You couldn't help but laugh as you push him aside gently, "very funny, I wouldn't be skipping classes because of you and Tom."

The two of you finally arrived to class, and finally met Tom in there, he was way early than usual which confused you a bit. Maggie suddenly greets you, happiness written on her face just for seein of you.

Of course you back away a bit and smile back, trying to sit next to Helen as he also arrived a little earlier than you, you wanted to sit fast as possible so you could talk to him during class or pass notes, Helen seemed to notice your presence as he lifted his head completely, a small smile appearing on his face.

Class finally started, Maggie and her friends were chatting already. And Tom was already messing with Aiden by throwing little pieces of paper at his head.

You in the other hand, were passing notes with Helen silently, you couldn't help but feel eyes on you, in the corner of your eye you could see Tom staring at you before he quickly turned away and kept his eyes on Aiden.

You ignore that quickly as Helen gives you another note:

"he keeps looking at you weird, did something happen?"

You look at Helen surprised, so it wasn't only you that were feeling this weird sensation with Tom. You shook your head and give him a reassuring smile to calm him down, it seemed that this was the end of the conversation as Helen finally faced front and started drawing.

You wanted to look at what he was drawing, but of course he was covering it you couldn't see completely.

Though as you were trying to look you hear shuffling and as if something were getting dropped on the floor, you look in front only to see Judy standing up and shaking her backpack, dropping her notebooks and everything as if she was looking for something. Her face started to show worry.

And as for Maggie she also looked confused, "what's wrong, Judy?"

Judy stops and looks at Maggie with worry in her eyes, "I can't find my watch." She looks down at her backpack as he kept looking in it and in every bag she could see.

Now Ban was the last one to get up and decided to look around to see if she dropped it somewhere.
