Izuku Schuyler was rolling around on his bed as happy as he can because he was going to marry the love of his life.

His brothers acknowledge that he was lovesick and were happy for him

Boy, you got me helpless!

The boy Izuku had met made him into a helpless mess

Look into your eyes, and the sky's the limit 

He was head over heels looking into his lovers bright ruby red eyes

I have never been the type to try and grab the spotlight.

Izuku never was a person of attention as he has the middle child of the Schuyler family

We were at a revel with some rebels on a hot night

Even though it was a winters ball, the ballroom was very crowded.

Laughin' at my brother as he's dazzling the room

Izuku's older brother, Kirishima was making himself noticed while being funny at the same time.

Then you walked in and my heart went"Boom!"

Then the boy walked into the ballroom. Tall, ash blonde hair, and ruby red eyes. The moment when he Izuku saw him, his heart exploded with emotions.

Tryin' to catch your eye from the side of the ballroom

That whole night, it was impossible to get the boys attention.

Everybody's dancin' and the band's top volume.

Grind to the rhythm as we wine and dine.

Grab my brother, and whisper"Yo, this one's mine." 

He decided to grab his elder brother, Kirishima, to help him get this boys attention. Kirishima sighed and agreed to help him.

My brother made his way across the room to you 

Kirishima walked over to the boy starting a conversation with the ash blonde.

And I got nervous, thinking

"What's he gonna do?" 

Izuku started to panic, what was Kirishima doing?

He grabs you by the arm, I'm thinkin'"I'm through"

Izuku thought that Kirishima stole the only chance that he had at love.

Then you look back at me and suddenly

Immediately after losing hope, Izuku looks across the room with ruby red eyes staring back at him with a small smile.
