" Momi aren't you ready yet ??
come downstairs Sakina is saying your parents have arrived "

" Just a minute My dear husband "

I hurriedly fixed my  tea pink hijab with same colored dress . I packed a mini bag as my parents were here to take me for Maklaava  Walima was to be held tomorrow. Baji Sobia insisted on a simple Nikah but a proper Walima

I came  out of dressing room and my husband was waiting outside. Hearing my footsteps he raised his gaze towards me

" Ma Shaa Allah habibiti you are looking awesome "
hearing this I lowered my eyes ,unintentionally blush crept up my cheeks !

" And now habibiti you have become a cute red tomato! " he said winking
" Momin stop it .... lets go "
" Okay my queen "

Downstairs everyone was waiting for us already. Momin, I must say , is such a gentleman, he met my parents with so much respect. His every act makes me fall for him more, which now , I can do without any sense of guilt Alhamdulillah. After breakfast, we left for my home or I should say 'Maika ' . On the ride home I was constantly talking with my Dad. Suddenly I remembered something I wanted to ask from him

" Dad you once told me that your turning point was the peace in certain someone's eyes.... Dad in my case that person was Baji Sobia and her words ... Can I ask who was that certain someone in your case ??"

" Momi , in my case that person was Sobia's son Momin . It was the poise and calm in his persona , the peace that his eyes radiated, left me questioning myself ,how was he holding such peace , which I was never able to reach even after all the success. He reminded me that we all have actually forgotten why, in the first place , why were we created and sent in this world. We have forgotten that our breath can stop any moment and we have nothing prepared for afterlife . But Momi , he never spoke any of this , it was his personality that spoke volumes. That's what a true believer is like, a walking and talking Islam . Without even preaching he or she can attract many towards this beautiful religion"

I was literally in tears on hearing this. I was feeling so proud of my husband and extremely grateful to Allah Subhan Wa Taa'la for blessing such a sinner like me with this pious man. My thoughts were soon broken by words of my mother

" Momi Ive seen that you trust Sobia too much ....Listen my Jaan, she is now your mother in law you must realize this fact. Stay alert and aware of what she does. She might poison Momin's mind by speaking ill of you behind your back. If she ever creates any trouble just tell me and then I will tell her with whose daughter she is messing with. You have to tell me what happens there daily, ok my love? "

I just remained silent not comprehending what to say but she continued

" And keep Momin in your control . Slowly demand him to keep you in a separate house "
I was totally bewildered with her words How can I separate a mother from her son ? Thankfully dad made mom stop

" For Allah's sake you are her mother ... How can you teach your daughter such things! Islam has no doubt given a right to women to demand a separate home if they wish but if possible shouldn't they try not to separate the mothers from their children. Your own daughter will have children one day and the cycle will repeat , someone will come to take her child away.
Sobia is a pious woman , Im sure she will not disturb our daughter
Infact Momi will be more comfortable to live with her. Don't spoil your daughter's house with useless advices !!"

The following evening Momin came to take me back .We stopped by an ice cream parlour. Sitting there we constantly talked about each other's likes and dislikes as he said
