~A Bet~
"Hey Tobi!" David yelled bringing his bike to a stop at the sight of one of our other friends. I pulled my bike up next to David's hopping off of it. Only slightly behind me, Felix muttered a 'sup' and parked his bike next to David.
"Hi." Tobi kept his grip on the handlebars of his bike his face worried. "You guys are late...what happened?"
"Just David being David." I smiled turning towards David's shocked expression.
"Hey, it's not all my fault!" David furrowed his brows pouting.
"True." I turned back towards Felix. "David wasn't there, but I had to save Felix from some cockroaches." Felix shivered faking a gag.
"Don't even say that word..."
"Then I went and checked out a nearby farm and heard a knocking sound, but Felix was like 'Nooo, it's your imagination...blah blah blah'" David exaggerated pointing at Felix. I held back a laugh.
"And I'm wrong?" Felix questioned unbothered by David's impersonation of him.
"Well...a big imagination is a good thing." Tobi blushed attempting to make David feel better.
"Whatever." David sighed. "All of you will always be skeptical." I looked at David feeling forgotten. "Not (Y/N) she's the only one who cares!" David faked a sob and tackled me in a hug. I smiled spinning us in a circle.
"Get a room..." Felix rolled his eyes a tint of jealousy lacing his voice.
"What?" I pulled away from David. "You want a hug too?" Felix blushed.
"W-What of course not!"
"Tobias." Our conversation was interrupted by a loud, yet familiar voice behind us. We all turned instantly recognizing the scariest woman in all of Lalin. Tobias' mom. "Why are you guys still here?"
I bit my lip looking at Tobi for help. He shrugged his face just as terrified.
"You should be in school." She muttered.
"Sorry mom, we were talking..." Tobi forced a smile hopping on his bike. All of us followed in suit slowly pedaling away from her.
"Don't worry. If we hurry we won't be late." Felix shouted over his shoulder. From what I'd seen, Tobi's mom was the only person Felix was scared of.
"Yeah, don't worry!" Tobi nodded agreeing with Felix.
"Okay. Just don't be late!"
We all pedaled faster fearing being late to school. Tobi led the way Felix and I not far behind him. I turned back to see David glance back at Tobi's mom.
"Oh yeah!" David shouted snapping his fingers. "Tobi, your mom's a cop!"
"Yes?" Tobi stooped his bike craning his neck back to look at David.
"I need to ask her something! Can I?"
"Ask her?" Tobi leaned to the side looking past David's head to see his moms intense glare. "I don't think that's a good idea. She isn't in a good mood this morning."
Tobi started pedaling on his bike again. This time it was just Felix and I in front. The two of them continued talking while Felix and I remained silent next to each other.
"Hey, (Y/N)."
"What?" I turned my head facing Felix, but he kept his eyes on the road.
"Would you-Uh. Shit..." He muttered his tanned skin going red. "Can we go somewhere? After school?" I raised an eyebrow grinning. "I mean...just the two of us."
