"Hi Tess....miss me"

"What the fuck are you doing here?"

"I missed you too can we talk?"

She looked to Mitchell who's hands were in tight fists trying to control himself by looking anywhere but directly at the other man

"About what?"

"Can we just talk?.......alone?"

"No", Mitchell finally spoke giving Marcus a death stare

"Oh you're speaking for her now........maybe you should put Mr. Boyfriend in his place Tess"

"Not that it's any of you're business Marcus but he's not my boyfriend anymore"

She held up her left hand and wiggled her ring finger, Marcus's eyes grew wide and he started chuckling

"Wow were you THAT scared she was gonna leave you?"

"You know what-", Mitchell stood up and grabbed a hand full of his shirt

"Mitchell....."

"What's wrong big man? You don't trust you're woman around me? Can't blame you...."

Mitchell was about to punch the shit out of him but Tess grabbed his arm, "It's not worth it baby"

Marcus smiled as Mitchell let go of him and shook himself, "Are we done here? Tess please...."

"Go wait in my office I'll be right up"

Marcus bit his lip and smiled at Mitchell victoriously which made his blood boil, as he walked away Mitchell looked at Tess 

"What was that? I forbid you to be alone in a room with him"

Her eyes went wide at that, "You FORBID me?......you don't own me....number one and number two I thought you trusted me just a little more than that"

"I trust you Tess but him? He's an asshole....."

"Look I'm gonna ask him to leave and if he refuses I'll ask security to escort him out okay?"

Mitchell took a deep calming breath and rubbed his face, ".....if you're not down in five minutes I'm coming up"

She walked into her office and crossed her arms, he was looking at the pictures displayed on her wall, she rolled her eyes and slammed the door making him spin around. He smiled and shoved his hands in his pockets

"Hi there"

"Just please.....get to the point"

"Why are you ALWAYS so hostile? I just wanna talk"

"Marcus...."

"Okay......I came to congratulate you for finally paying off you're debt and now......I guess I should congratulate you on you're engagement"

She frowned and crossed her arms again,  "That doesn't seem like you.....if you told me you're here to gloat because you achieved something better I'd believe you but something.....call it intuition.....is telling me you are here for some twisted intentions"

"WOW....you know you would've been a good lawyer", he laughed and walked closer to her, "....I guess I'm just wondering why?"
