(Guess who's back baby! Apologies for the wait, my mental health was not having a fun time and I just moved about a month ago into my first apartment, graduated high school, got engaged, got a bearded dragon and a cat and it's a whole shebang. Hopefully, I can update more but it's been so long since I've wrote I feel like my writing skill has gone down considerably. Feel free to point out any misspellings Grammarly misses because I ain't paying for that. :)

It's been a month since Ian was sent away. Paityn was 17 weeks along and was currently in the trailer with Nick grabbing weapons.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Nick asked.

"Yes, Nick. I know legit nothing about what we are or how to fight like Grimm. It's about time I learn." Paityn sighed grabbing a crossbow.

"But you're almost 20 weeks pregnant."

"I know, which is why I have to learn self-defense. If someone comes after me or the baby, I won't know how to defend myself." she shrugged giving Nick a small smile. He looked at her unsure. "And I'll know what to do if you suddenly go awol on me."

"Alright alright. Just, be careful. We don't want you or the baby getting hurt." Nick smiled. "Speaking of which, when are you going to find out the gender? Aren't you able to tell at 12 weeks?" He asked.

"Sometimes yeah, but Sean and I are waiting till we can tell 100%. So around 20-25 weeks we'll try and find out." She opened the trailer door walking out to his car to get in. He drove her there since her vehicle was currently at his house. She didn't carry anything, since Nick was adamant that pregnant women couldn't carry anything more than 20 pounds, thanks to Juliet.

Nick drove them to the forest surrounding them where Monroe had agreed to help train them the best he could. Nick had tried to put on Wolfsbane for Monroe to make it harder for him to smell them. They started walking, Nick in front. While walking, Paityn and Nick heard something fall to their right. Paityn walked over to see what it was and saw a rock, obviously thrown.

Monroe suddenly jumped and tackled Nick to the ground, causing a yelp to erupt from Paityn out of shock. Nick wrestled him to the ground, "I told you to meet me not eat me." Nick said.

"Hey guys, we're not out here doing a paintball match, if you want to practice your Grimm skills, you gotta be ready for anything." Monroe paused for a moment, looking between Nick and Paityn.

"Nick, get off him now, it's starting to look awkward." Paityn rubbed her neck nervously as Nick got off Monroe and helped him up.

"I told you guys to use Wolfsbane. I could smell you from a mile away." Monroe wiped his nose as if it was runny.

"We did." Nick sighed, brushing himself off. Monroe went up to his arm and sniffed him.

"Use more." And he looked to Paityn. "Granted Paityn, I'm not sure how much more you'd need. I can't smell it on you at all."

"Is it a bad smell?" Paityn asked, her hormonal emotions hitting at a horrible time and her eyes watered.

"What? No! The pregnancy smell is actually kind of nice! I promise!" Monroe panicked.

"What does it smell like then?" Paityn crossed her arms and pretended to pout.

"Uh, it smells like lotion. Yeah, especially with your Grimm scent in, it smells like lotion." Monroe said. He was avoiding eye contact.

"What kind of lotion?" Paityn asked, not believing him for a second. She wasn't mad, not even a little, she was just emotional thanks to the hormones surging through her body.
