Zenitsu and Inosuke eventually learned to use Full Focus Breathing all day and night. It took them 9 days to master.
Those nine days I spent meditating until I began to uncover more forms of Breath of The Moon and I refined my skills with Breath of Wind.
"Ubuyashiki!!"
I turn from my spot by the pond to see Tanjirou running towards me. "What is it? What happened?"
"My crow told me that mine and Inosuke's new blades are coming today!" He said excitedly. "You should've seen how happy he was to hear about the swords!"
"Oh yeah? Who forged your sword?" I asked as I stood and followed him back to the front gates.
"There he is now!" He waved out the front gates to two people approaching slowly. "Hey!! Haganezuka-san!!!!!!" The man started moving faster towards him, but Tanjirou hardly noticed. "Its been a long time! How have you been??" That was until he noticed that Haganezuka had a knife.
"How dare you break my blade??!! Damn you! Damn you!!" The man screamed.
"I'm sorry! But I really thought I was gonna die!" Tanjirou tried to defend himself. "My opponent was super strong!"
Haganezuka wasn't having it. This only fueled his rage. "Like that has anything to do with it! Its your fault! Everything's your fault! The blade broke because you're a weakling! That has to be why my blade broke! I'll kill you!!"
Tanjirou was chased relentlessly while me and the other man looked on from the top of the fence.
"Shouldn't.. Shouldn't we stop this?" He asked nervously.
"Nah. Its kinda funny.." I snickered behind my hand. "So. You're the one who forged Inosuke's swords, yeah?"
He nods excitedly, "yeah! It was a great opportunity!"
"I'm (y/n) Ubuyashiki." I said as I continued watching the terror down below.
"Kozo Kanamori." He introduced before turning back towards me. "Wait.. You're Ubuyashiki?"
"Yeah? That would be me.." I said warily.
"Hotaru came back to the village excited because he forged duel blades for a girl who got red swords!" Kanamori said excitedly. "I bet you're an amazing swordslady!"
"Oh.. Well.. I am, so thanks!" I grinned. "And I think I should stop this before he actually gets stabbed.." I jumped down in between them, quickly pulling the knife from Haganezuka's hands. "Hey hey hey, that's enough!"
Tanjirou dove behind me, "thanks for the save (y/n).. I owe you one.."
"You owe me way more than one, Tanjirou, but I'll put it on your tab." I snorted before putting on my best smile towards the masked man. "Haganezuka! Hey! Remember me?"
He grabs my arm and pulls me behind him, "a swordslady of your caliber should never interact with filth such as that, kiddo!"
"He's not so bad once you get used to him, I swear." I shrugged as I stepped off to the side. "Yes, he broke your blade and thats unforgivable. Completely and utterly awful and he should get punished for it! But.. I'll handle it from here."
"You'll make him suffer?"
"Yes."
"And you'll make him cry himself to sleep at night?"
"Apsolutely!"
"How about break his bones?"
"Not that far." I chuckled. "Wounds heal, but words cause psychological trauma that he'll never recover from!"
Haganezuka nodded proudly before slapping Tanjirou upside the head harshly, "why can't you be more like her, you bastard?!"

They both left the estate furious that afternoon. Haganezuka was still livid about Tanjirou. And Kanamori... Was fuming because Inosuke intentionally broke the blades with a stone right in front of him.
They both only left because I promised to rain some 'divine punishment' upon both Tanjirou and Inosuke. I never intended on doing anything of the sort., but they don't have to know that. I'm supposed to be in charge of them and make sure they don't die until Kagaya tells me otherwise.
Today however, we're going to get one final look over by Shinobu to see if we're healthy enough to go back to the field.
The boys all chose to go before me however. I was glad because it gave me time to go over the motions I knew from Breath of The Moon and then review the steps of Breath of Wind.
"What are you doing?"
I turn to have my face in a well built chest and then slowly look up to see a familar face. "Genya? Someone had a growth spurt!"
"Ha ha, yeah I know, I took yours. Now I can look down on you physically as well as metaphorically!" He snorted. "I heard that you got pretty fucked up on your last mission."
"That's funny!" I hissed sarcastically. "So. What do you want?"
Genya glared down at me, "I want to know what you're doing out here. Some kind of mating ritual?"
I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms across my chest, "just exceeding expectations, as always. But you wouldn't know about that, would you Mohawk boy?"
He tried to swing at me, but I dodged easily. "Actually, I just learned a blood demon art!"
"Wait.. How?" I asked after a moment.
Genya grinned at me viciously, "you heard me! No one else can do what I can in battle!"
"Well.. I'm learning another Breath form." I one upped him easily.
His jaw fell open, "another? Is that even possible?!"
"Nope! But I'm doing it anyways!" I sauntered around him, "maybe you should hang around outside for a bit, find your eyebrows."
Before he could react, I was already across the yard and heading inside.
"Oh, (y/n)! Perfect! I was just looking for you!" Shinobu greeted me in the hallway before leading me to a seperate room. "How are you feeling today?"
"I'm alright, i guess. I've been feeling really... Inspired since my last battle all those weeks ago." I said with a shrug.
She checked over me physically and then nodded to herself. "Yep! Healthy as a horse! Do you have any more questions for me?"
I bite my lip for a moment before nodding, "yeah. Can I get real with you for a minute?"
"Of course you can!" She said with her usual smile as she sat down behind her desk, motioning for me to take a seat as well.
"Is.. Is it possible for someone to learn 2 different breath forms?" I asked softly.
Her eyes widen for a moment before she shakes her head, "I'm not quite sure.. I've never heard of anything quite like that. Does Oyakata-Sama know that your curious about that possibility?"
I nodded, "he's the one that suggested it! And.. No one else knows this other breath form either.. Its extinct and for some reason it came to me like muscle memory in a form of panic.."
She walked over and lightly held onto my face to examine my eyes. "It could be because of your past lives aligning properly.. Or because of your bloodline."
"My blood line? What do you know?" I asked frantically.
She shook her head, "uh... never mind."
"What do you know, Shinobu? Tell me!" I demanded before bowing my head apologetically. "Please.. I'm tired of not knowing who I am."
Shinobu looks at me sternly before giving in. "Fine. All i know, is that 15 years ago, there was a rumor that a demon and a human had conceived a child. And then mysteriously you showed up as a baby with the eyes of a demon." She sighed, "but thats a stretch, dear. I heard this from my older sister years before she passed, but thats all I know. Oyakata-Sama refused to talk about it. I guess you just have to feel it in your gut to be sure though."
My eyes widen as I stare off into space. That's ridiculous.. And impossible.. Completely impossible! Unless.. It happened as a fluke.. Could this be why Lady Tamayo's blood demon art didn't affect me?
"Ubuyashiki! It's time for us to go!" Tanjirou called out in the hallway.
"Don't be reckless with this knowledge, (y/n). And don't tell anyone until you're 100% certain. Okay?" Shinobu asked with a regretful smile.
I nodded after a moment and hugged her tightly. "..okay. Thanks for taking care of us."
"Any time. Stay safe out there!" She called out after me as I walked back down the hallway to my room and changed into my uniform.
