Three months went by in a flash for the two of them. Their schedules were normal. According to the prince these past few months has been 'utterly boring'

America laid in his bed with his hands beneath his head, staring at the ceiling. 'The competition is tomorrow eh?' He thought to himself.

'Usually I don't give two shits about these events, after all its mostly just a method so king's can boast about their heirs,'

'But this year I'll try to win, after all Russia did win his part of the competition.'

The prince sighed before drifting off to sleep.

He was woken up bright and early the next day, the loud knocking on his door jolted him awake. The warm sunlight from his window wrapped around his skin.

"Prince it's almost time to leave," the familiar accent said as they continued to knock. "Okay okay I heard you," America ruffled his messy hair and got ready for today.

...

America climbed onto the carriage, inside was his father and Canada. "Mom not coming?" America asked his younger brother. "She has to take care of Aussie and Kiwi dumbass," the Canadian sarcastically remarked.

Canada sat next to his dad, America plopped down on the seat facing directly at his dad. America noticed Russia standing outside the carriage. "Get in Russ, we're gonna leave soon."

"I shouldn't, the carriage is reserved for royalty only, I can ride a carriage horse," he said with his hands behind his back. "You can ride a horse? I thought you've never ridden one before other than that one time," the prince raised an eyebrow.

"I don't know how to ride on but I'll manage somehow," the tricolored country replied nonchalantly. America groaned in annoyance, "get in here I'm not letting you injure yourself before we even get there."

And so that's how this situation happened, he sat next to the prince, the Russian's head practically touching the roof. Russia sat there without a word.

"Just do you know Russia, it's fine for you to sit in here with us," Britain tried to reassure him.

America stared out the window while running his fingers through his hair. "I wonder what's up with the sudden competition though, I really hope the other king's aren't THAT desperate to show off." He balled up his hand and rested his chin on the small area of his palm.

"Haha yeah..." Canada nervously chuckled and averted his gaze.

After awhile they reached the Japanese empire, the whole town was different from Britannia's town. All the girls wore Kimonos, the buildings were shaped differently, the castle itself wasn't very tall but it was very wide.

It was one of those Japanese styled buildings, the air here was cleaner, everyone spoke an unfamiliar language to the Russian.

A few villagers noticed them and waved, America waved back out of habit. "You're such a social butterfly even here," Canada sneered. "I'm the best prince around what did you expect?" The prince arrogantly retorted.

The Canadian prince scoffed, "enough now, I'm sure Princess Japan isn't interested in listening to you two bicker so early in the morning," their father rolled his eyes.

When they got off the cold air hit them, "Oh America..." Princess Japan greeted them a little sad for some reason.

They all followed her to the room where all the royals waited. They all went around greeting the royal families which America's father claims to be a 'common courtesy'

"Eh Britain, long time no see," an unfamiliar king came up to them, by his side was his son. They both seemed to be mocking them. "Ah yes hello uh who are you again?" Britain placed his cup of tea down on the plate he held in his other hand.
