"You gotta calm down and take a breathe. The stress can't be good for you. It can't be good for the baby either," Josh said as Maya smiled trying to remain calm.
"I know. It's just so different now. I thought my future was all planned out. I was going to keep on doing performing and eventually I would have done something with my life. How am I supposed to take on a pregnancy at eighteen?" Maya asked.
"With me. We'll be fine. We'll be just fine raising this child on our own," Josh said.
"I'm not gonna go for the abortion option. I don't want to go down that path. What I want to do is raise my child no matter what is coming our way. I hope you can except that," Maya said.
"Baby, of course. No matter what I will love you and this child. Let's just figure out what is going to happen next," Josh said as he gave Maya a soft kiss.
