This is a story containing many different AUs, Headcanons, and Short stories for the series The Rising of the Shield Hero.
Many of these AUs are inspired and I've gotten permission to use them.
I also keep my word count for at least 2000 words for...
Psycho: I was listening to this song, and I couldn't stop thinking of it as Naofumi and L'Arc.

We see an empty room with stone walls, wooden floors, and a wooden ceiling. There is a beautiful dark brown canopy bed with detailed engravements on the bedposts. White curtains, tied to the bedposts with white silk and dark green bed sheets with multiple white pillows. Beside the Bed was an oakwood dresser. On the opposite side of the bed is two wooden chairs, lighter than the dresser, with dark red pillows, a dark green rug with patterns and a small table in front of the chairs. In the corner of the room is a body-length mirror. On the opposite side of the dresser is a window, the glass doors to the balcony beside it, the dark purple curtains pulled back on both of them, the balcony doors are open, being held open by rope attacked to the handles from outside on the balcony. On the opposite side of the balcony door is another door leading to the hallway.
The lighting in the room is dim from the light of the stars shining through the window and the balcony doors.

The doors opposite of the Balcony door opens and Naofumis steps through, looking dejected and almost sad. He goes straight to the dresser and takes off his armor and cape, putting it on top of the dresser.
"Naofumi..." A familiar voice echoes through the room, shocking Naofumi for a second
"What do you want?" Naofumi snaps, turning his head towards the balcony doors that are open, showing L'Arc standing there, not wearing any kind of armor, his scythe long gone, before Naofumi turns his whole body face L'Arc, crossing his arms.
L'Arc opens his mouth to speak but closes it again, not really sure what he wants to say, he looks down sadly.
"Well? If you don't have anything to do here, just leave." Naofumi tells him sternly before turning his back on L'Arc and sitting down on the bed, beside the pillows, at the corner of the bed
"You know I want you... It's not a secret I try to hide..." He begins singing, voice desperate for Naofumi to listen
Naofumi just turns his head away again
"I know you want me, so don't keep saying our hands are tied" L'Arc takes a step closer, standing in the doorway of the balcony door "You claim it's not in the cards. Fate is pulling you miles away, and out of reach from me." He reaches a hand out towards Naofumi whos is now hunched over
Naofumi puts his head in his hands, letting his elbows rest on his knees, as L'Arc keeps his eyes on him the whole time
"But you're here in my heart, so who can stop me if I decide, that you're my destiny~" He takes a step closer, now standing inside.
"What if we Rewrite the Stars? Say you were made to be mine, nothing could keep us apart. You'd be the one I was meant to find..." He takes three steps closer, putting a hand on the bedpost diagonally opposite of where Naofumi is sitting
"It's up to you, and it's up to me, no can say what we get to be... So why don't we rewrite the stars?" He takes a step closer, now walking along the foot end of the bed
"Maybe the world could be ours... Tonight..." He looks at Naofumi, desperately wanting the ravenette to answer
Naofumi keeps quiet for a couple of seconds, L'Arc getting ready to leave and turning around
"You think it's easy..." He sang with a sad voice as he turns his head a bit and gets eye contact with shocked L'Arc "You think I don't wanna run to you?" He sat up properly "But there are mountains~, and there are doors that we can't walk through." He broke the eye contact, as L'Arc kept staring at him in surprise and sadness
"I know you're wondering why, because we're able to be just you and me, within these walls," Naofumi sang as he stood up and faced L'Arc, spreading out his arms "But when we go outside, you're gonna wake up and see that it was hopeless after all~" He shook his head as he let his arms fall back down to his side and looked down
"No one can rewrite the stars, how can you say you'll be mine? Everything keeps us apart~" He walked a few steps along the bed to stand at the bedpost at the foot of the bed facing L'Arc with sad eyes "And I'm not the one you were meant to find." He gripped the bedpost with both hands and leaned against it, looking down
"It's not up to you, it's not up to me, when everyone tells up what we can be" Naofumi sang as he looks up at L'Arc again with sad eyes and a frown, L'Arc looking back at him with a small sad smile "How can we rewrite the stars? Say that the world can be ours..." He takes a step closer to L'arc, letting go of the bedpost with one hand "Tonight..."
"All I want is to fly~ with you" They both quickly let go of the bedposts and quickly stepped into each other's arms "All I want is to fall~ with you," They took each other's hands and stretched their arms out, swirling around once and away from the bed "So just give me all~ of you," They looked at each other with love and adoration in their eyes and sad smiles in their faces as they got closer again
"It feels impossible, is it impossible?" Naofumi sang, keeping eye contact with L'Arc "It's not impossible" L'Arc answered
"Say that it's possible~" They sang together, swirling around, holding each other's hands, ending up right outside the balcony doors
"How do we Rewrite the Stars? Say you were made yo be mine?" They sang together as L'Arc took hold of Naofumi's waist, lifting the raven up and spinning them both around, the both of them smiling, Naofumi putting his hands on L'Arc's shoulders "Nothing can keep us apart, 'cause you are the one I was meant to find," They once again sang together, L'Arc putting Naofumi back down, the two kept their hands on each other, smiling
"It's up to you, and it's up to me, no one can say what we get to be" They stopped twirling and stood at the stone railing of the balcony, looking right into each other's eyes with love
"And why don't we rewrite the stars? Changing the world to be ours~" They sang together before turning and looking out over the city in the night below them, leaning on each other, holding hands
"You know I want you," Naofumi sang with a sad and wavering voice, "It's not a secret I try to hide, but I can't have you," He looks sadly into L'Arcs eyes, "We're bound to break and my hands..." He looks down and their entwined hands "Are tied..." He finished singing, sadly
They stayed quiet for a couple of minutes more, looking out as the sun began to rise, L'Arc keeping an arm around Naofumi, his hand on Naofumi's waist, the other hand holding one of Naofumi's in front of them, Naofumi leaning in L'Arc's shoulder and L'Arc leaning his head on Naofumi's.
"You know, I don't care that we're from different worlds... I Love you." L'Arc suddenly told Naofumi, lifting his head from Naofumi's and looking at said male
"I know... It's just... I... How can you love... someone like me...?" He asked sadly "I'm nothing special, really..." He looked down at his feet "I doubt you'd like me from before I became the Shield Hero."
L'Arc let go of Naofumi's hand to put a hand on Naofumi's cheek, making the raven look at him, their bodies turning to face each other
L'Arc: "I don't know who said you aren't special, but to me, you're the most special thing in the world. I Love everything about You. The Past, the Present, and the Future, where I hope I can be by your side." He told Naofumi, looking into the other male's eyes
Both of them leaned in, and their lips met in a loving kiss, the sunrise in the horizon illuminating them
