The mood was cheerful and exuberant. Yibo and Zhan sat next to each other watching Zoey and Hai Kuan, who seemed to forget everything around them. Yibo's parents, on the other hand, looked at their two now grown-up sons and seemed relieved to see how happy their youngest son was and that Hai Kuan was apparently in the process of finding his happiness.

Unnoticed by the others, Zhan and Yibo's father exchanged a look that said something like, "I told you so."
