Part 2

David looked his coven mates in the eyes.

What were they going to do with the girl?

Max would murder them if they turned another one, but the public would notice another bloodless body turning up on shore, and soon they'd be found by the hunters.

'What's the decision?' Marko voices to David through their brotherly connection. 'The linger she's alive and breathing-'

'We know, Marko. But it's still a risk, no matter what we do. She could turn out like Star, who completely turned on us, or like Adagio, who you thought was your mate, but instead turned out to be a murderer only looking for power.' David sighed, exasperated with having to make such drastic choices.

'Leave Adagio out of this, David. None of us ever saw her coming.' Marko pouted. 'This girl might be different.'

'But do you really want to rub that risk? We nearly ended up 3ft underground because you were ignorant to her true nature.'

'Whatever.' He stalked back to the room they kept her to find the bed completely destroyed. The sheets were torn, the pillows had become feather boas and the headboard resembled one of David's one-night-stands. 'Boys! We've got an issue.'
