Napakunot-noo naman ako at napatitig ng mataman sa kanya. "Why?"
Nagkibit-balikat lang siya. "Bakit ko pa hahanapin ang crush ko na hindi ko naman alam kung saang lupalop matatagpuan kung nandito naman sa tabi ko ang childhood crush ko, 'di ba?" nakangiti niyang saad. Iyong klase ng ngiti na kay Jeannie niya lang ibinibigay noon.
I'm not sure why I suddenly felt nervous. He's been like this since yesterday, and it's clear that his sweetness is genuine.
Even when Ashmer and Percy aren't around, we're constantly together, and I can sense that something has changed in him. I'm just hesitant to acknowledge it.

I was rendered speechless. Lovimer is attractive in his own right, and in some ways, he can match Ash. Their personalities are different, but both have a magnetic effect on women.
I can't comprehend why there's something Ashmer has that I find attractive, a certain twinkle in his eye every time I look at him, something I don't see in any other guy.
I suppose it's inevitable for me to compare other men to Ash, and that's what I dislike about myself. Moving on is challenging, but I'm doing my best to forget him.

Kumalabog ang dibdib ko dahil sa lambing ng boses niya.
Baby... Why does it seem like it came from Ash? Oh my God, Marci, he's not Ashmer, he's Lovimer.
But if Kenya managed to love someone else despite Jelo being her first love... Why can't I? Maybe I can too if I just want to.
He said we're just going to try. It could be a temporary setup or maybe the beginning of forever between us, who knows, right?

"If you give me a chance to prove myself, then why not?"
"Tigilan mo nga' yang pagngiti mo ng ganiyan, Mer," asik ko sabay irap.
Aksidenteng napadapo ang tingin ko sa main door ng CS at nagkasalubong ang tingin namin ng bagong dating na si Ash. Ako na ang unang bumawi ng tingin.
Whoa! That was tough, Marci. I commend you for doing that. I mean, to change your perspective on the guy you're fond of. I think you're making progress. Not bad.
"Bakit naman?"
"Baka kasi tuluyan na akong mahulog sa patibong ko mismo" biro ko. Nagkatitigan pa kami at sabay na napahagalpak ng tawa.
