23: Discovery

You woke up from your slumber and tried getting up from your bed, only to have strong arms stop you. You looked to your side and saw Aizawa. "You okay?" He asked as he caressed your cheek. "Yeah, just... A dream." You sighed and shook your head. "Was it a bad one?" He asked as he held you closer to his chest. "I'm... Not sure what exactly it was. I just need some water." You sighed as he let you go. "Come back to bed when your done okay?" He kissed your forehead and set you off.

As you drank your cup of water you tried remembering where exactly you where when you passed out. You remembered seeing big buildings and the lights, but that could be anywhere.
"Dirt cheap" The name crossed your mind as you thought more and more about the signs you saw. "Dirt cheap Donki-Oote!" You whisper yelled as you figured out a detail.

You downed the rest of your water as you got your laptop and started doing research. The largest dirt cheap store was located in Yokohama... You were about to look up a map of Yokohama when you heard Aizawa. "Come back to bed!" He yelled making you shake your head. "In a minute!" You looked up a map and studied the surroundings. Kamino Ward, that's the nearest spot to where you escaped. "So whoever was experimenting... Has a hideout either in, or near Kamino." You mumbled to yourself. "When I got back I remember a hospital... So there must be medical records of my stay there... So if I can somehow get those and compare to the ones I got from visiting the doctors recently..." Your mumbling was interrupted by someone shutting your laptop closed.

"Bed." Was all he said as he threw you over his shoulder. "Hey! I'm not sleepy anymore and I have things to do." You whined as you tried getting out of his grip. "We have all day tomorrow to sleep!" You let out a sigh as he threw you into the bed and laid down. "If you were someone else I would have killed you by now." You growled as you turned to your side and let him cuddle you. "Shut up, and go back to sleep." You sighed and curled up next to him. "I love you." He mumbled as he griped you tight. "I love you too..." You sighed out as you kissed him.

Once you woke up it was the afternoon and you heard noises coming from the kitchen. "Aizawa!" You yelled as you moved around the empty bed. "What do you want?" He groaned as he came into the room. "Come here, I need warmth." You made grabby hands towards him. "Last night you wanted to do whatever the fuck you were trying to do and didn't want to come back to bed, and now you're acting like a baby." He groaned as he walked towards the bed. "Come on, breakfast is on the table." He said as he stood up waiting for you to do the same. "Carry me?" You pouted as he stared at you with blank eyes. "Please?" You stretched you arms out and kissed his cheek when he lifted you up. "I love you." You smiled as he pulled out a chair and sat you on it.

"So what was your dream about?" He asked as he sat your plate down and made his own. You poked at your eggs when he asked that. "I'm... Not sure. I know it was a dream... But they felt so real, like if they were memories." You took a bite before continuing to explain. "A couple years ago something happened to me, I'm still not sure what exactly led me to that point but I went missing for a couple of years. When I got back, I didn't know what the hell happened. My memories where gone and I wanted to keep it that way, but last night I remembered. I was able to recall what happened, not clearly though, some part are still missing but I want to find out what happened! I need to know!" You exclaimed as you looked up at Aizawa.

"I'm sorry..." You mumbled as you tried covering your blush. "No it's fine, besides I already suspected something was wrong." He responded as he finished up his breakfast. "How?" You asked as you finished up your breakfast. "When we first met you were still living with your sister, and you worked in a fast food place. You also asked me, someone you had just met, for another job... It's only natural for me to assume something was wrong." He explained as he picked up your plate. "I can clean and cook while you do your research." You smiled and stood up wrapping your arms around his wait. "Thank you." You faced him and kissed his cheek before you headed to the living room and got your laptop out.

You got out you laptop and started looking for hospital near and around Kamino, thre where five possible hospitals so you had to chose from. "Here comes the long part..." You mumbled to your self as you started to search for public records, names, and dates. Hours worth of scrolling clicking and reading led you to absolutely nothing. "Why is this so frustrating!" You whined as you rubbed your tired eyes.

"Well... You still got one left, and if it turns out to be a bust we could always pull some strings at UA." Aizawas voice startled you, he placed a cup of coffee down for you and sat next to you. "What do you want for dinner?" He asked as you took a sip from the drink. "Anything is fine I just want to find these damn files already..." You mumbled to yourself as he leaned his head on your shoulder to stare at the screen. "I'm gonna order takeout then, are you sure you don't want anything specific?" He stood up and picked up his cellphone. "Not really... Maybe something spicy..." You told him as you continued scrolling. You passed old files before one cought your eye. You read your name on it and the date was two months after your 26th birthday, around the time you had reunited with your sister. You clicked on the file and it opened on onother tab.

Patient found passed out in the middle of the streets, remained unconscious for three days before finally waking up from her coma like state. While unconscious patient went through two blood transfusion before her body was able to maintain proper blood production. Patient was also found with slight brain damage, leading to memory loss.

You continued reading until it stopped. You tried reading the rest of it but the rest was restricted. "At least I know where to look now..." You groaned as you shut your laptop. Aizawa saw you standing up and walked towards you. "Everything alright?" He asked as you hugged him. "I found something but it's restricted you groaned into his chest. "We'll figure it out, go shower. The food will be here soon." You nodded as you pulled away from him. You grabbed your clothes and turned on the hot water. You started undressing before slowly stepping in. Your mind flashed back to the dream, the man on the TV screen... He had to be the one behind all of it. Behind the Nomus and maybe even behind the league of villains. To think that you could have been one of those creature's... It scares you. You shook you head as you washed the soap out of your hair. "Just be glad you're okay now..." You mumbled to your left as you poured body wash on your sponge and continued showering.

You got out with your pijamas and a towel wrapped around your hair. The smell if food made you smile as you walked in the kitchen. "I got you sweet and spicy chicken with rice, beef with broccoli and some dumplings." He said as he placed down two containers of takeout along with your favorite sauce and a soda on the table in the living room. "You know me so well." You faked a tear as you sat down with him and turned on the TV. "Do you wanna watch fast and furious?" He asked as he looked at the  chanel's. "Tokyo drift? Hell yeah, that's my favorite." You said glancing up at the screen while taking a bit of your dumplings.

As the movie went by you finished all the food and we're currently curled up on the couch with Aizawa as the both of you slept.

Meanwhile...

"I'm sure they've forgotten all about me." Luka spoke into his phone as he sat in his car staring into an apartment. "Don't worry about it, I'm sure they've gotten a false sense of security. I doubt they'll expect something like what were planning." He mumbled as he started up the engine to his car. "Just keep an eye on them. Shell come in handy for what we've got planned" Luka smirked as he drove off. "I got it you blue rat. Don't get your panties in a twist." With the he hung up and tossed his phone on the passengers seat and made his way to the hideout.
