Side story 2: Favorite parent~

It was no secret that your children preferred they're father over you, but now that the twins could talk it was shown even more. "Sekai! Sukoshi! Put up your toy's up its way past your bedtime!" You yelled down the hall as you watched the both of them run around they're room with they're fake swords. This was the third time you had told them to go to bed, but it seemed liked your words went in one ear and left out the other as they continued playing. You sighed as you squatted down and took the plastic sword out of Sukoshi's grasp. "Mom! No fair! Sekai still has hers!" He whined as he tried to reach for his toy. "No Sukoshi, I'm tired of the both of you not listening to me! Now go to bed!" You sighed as they stared at you with angry expressions. Walking out of they're room you went to the kitchen to get yourself a glass of water.

Time had passed and you were laying on the couch when you heard the front door open, a tired Shota walking in with a sleeping Eri. "How was work?" You asked with a sigh as you stood up to heat up his dinner. "It was fine, these new first years are something." He placed Eri on the couch and sat down at the table. "How were the twins?" He asked as you placed his plate down in front of him. "As calm as ever." You joked as you sat on his lap, wrapping your arms around his neck. "I don't know what else to do. I don't want to hit them, and I feel bad yelling at them I-" The both of you paused when you heard giggles. You frowned as you stood up and made your way to the twins room, Shota following close behind you. You slammed the door open catching them by surprise as they tried pretending to sleep.

"How many times have I told you to go to bed? It's not even just going to be you never! Never do as I say..." You sighed as you ran hand through your hair. "Don't play with the cat like that, be nice to your sister, be nice to your brother, clean your room, get off the phone, go to bed! I can't with this anymore I just can't..." You trailed off as a few tears pooled in your eyes. "It's not my fault! Sukoshi didn't want to go to bed!" "Nuh uh! It was you liar!" The both of them continued they're arguing until they heard their fathers deep voice. "Hey! I don't care whose fault it is but you listen to your mother... Go to bed, you've had a rough day. I'll be there in a sec okay?" He whispered the last part in your ear giving you a kiss on the cheek as you dried your eyes.

Shota turned to his kids with a stern expression. "Now... Sukoshi and Sekai Aizawa, care to explain why you won't listen to your mother?" He asked as the both of them got nervous. "We didn't mean to make mommy sad..." Sekai pouted as the guilt was getting to her. "We just wanted to have fun. Mom never lets us do anything fun." Sukoshi frowned as he stared at his father. "Oh really? If anything your mom's the best thing here. She bought you those nintendo's even though I told her not to!" Shota raised his voice making sure you hear him. "Heck if it weren't for your mom you wouldn't have half the toys you do. She spoils you but she trust that you'll obey her, and if you want to keep getting spoiled with toys and your little treats here and there I suggest you start listening to her... Unless you want me to start running things, I won't hesitate to turn this into a boot camp." He stood up as he took up the nintendo's. "You're not getting these back for a month. Now in the morning I want you both to apologize to your mom and if I hear that the two of you are acting up again... Say goodbye to your toys. Oh! And don't try asking your mother for these back cause I'll break them if you do." He smirked as he shut the door behind him.

"Daddy scares me some-"

"I said go to sleep!" Sekai was cut off by Shota's yell.

You laid in bed already somewhat passed out due to crying when you heard rustling. "I had a little talk with them, come on let's go to sleep." Shota's tired voice whispered into your ear making you nod and hold him close to you.

You woke up to the sound of arguing, making you groan. You assumed Shota had gone to do his morning patrol when you didn't feel him next to you. Stretching and getting yourself ready you finally decided to check what problem you had to deal with that morning. "Sekai, Sukoshi quit arguing!" You yelled as you opened the door to your room, only to be greeted by the smell of pancakes. "Mommy! Look what we made you!" Sekai quickly dragged you to the kitchen table

"I helped too!" Sukoshi yelled as he ran out of their room. "Eri did most of the work!" Sekai whispered making you nod. "Were sorry..." "We didn't mean to make you sad..." Sukoshi started letting Sekai finish. You shook your head and hugged them both. "I know, but you should start listening to me more often. I love you guys with all my heart and I don't want to hit you guy's..." You mumbled as both of them sat on your lap. "Now go brush your teeth." You sent them off when you heard the front door open.

"Shota, don't you have to do your rounds today?" You asked looking at the time. "I called in a favor, Hizashi should be taking care of things today.  I wanted to stay and make sure the kids weren't causing to much trouble." He embraced your hug as he placed a bag down. "...Should we tell them they start school next week?" You asked looking up at him. He thought about it for a second before responding. "I say we let them deal with the consequences, they'll sweet talk you into skipping..." He chuckled when you smacked him for his response.

I feel bad that I didn't include Eri in this one so next one she getting a boyfriend 👁️👄👁️
