"alice! luca!" i call in french for my best friends who just enter the cafe.
"charlotte," my girl best friend, alice greets sitting next to me and luca in front of us.
alice and luca are siblings. luca's family adopted alice when she was young. alice is chinese, luca is of course french and i am korean.
my parents moved here when my mother was pregnant so i've grown up in france my whole life, specifically paris.
"are you ready for the concert?" alice asks us once we order our drinks.
"no because i have to babysit but it's for your birthday so it's okay," luca says, making us chuckle at his statement.
"i brought tickets for the concert so we can be by the stage just for alice's birthday," i say.
"plus it's nct 127, i can't wait to see them," alice happily cheers.
we continue to talk and catch up since luca graduated last year, it was hard for us to hangout. now since it's the summer, we will be hanging out endlessly.
we left the cafe to take a stroll around the streets of paris until it was the early evening. we parted ways and made my way back to my parents' apartment.
i walk up to the apartment and made my way into the living room to be greeted by my mother.

"hi sweetie, how was your hangout with alice and luca?" my mother asks in korean from her resting position on the couch.
"we caught up and also talked about the nct 127 concert," i answer, walking into the kitchen to see my father cooking dinner.

"hey, chae, " my father greets. "are you ready for the concert?"
"not yet, i need to be mentally prepared to see them," i told him. "i can't believe that i get to see all 9 member live! i'm just sad sicheng-ssi isn't going to be there."
my parents know i'm a huge fan of nct 127. nct in general. they are one of my ult groups that i love and stan. my bias is doyoung in 127 but everyone else is my bias wrecker. my ult bias in nct is haechan.
