What We Used to Be

I was getting ready for school and packing my gear for my soccer tryouts . I was the best players on my all girl soccer team and not to sound conceited but I was better then most of the boys soccer team too . So their coach reached out to me and wanted me to tryout for the boys team this year. I was actually pretty excited .
I get dressed and go to school
I meet up with my friends that day goes by quick and at lunch mattia Alejandro kairi and Alvaro where talking about me like if I couldn't hear pretty much they weren't to happy with me trying out for the team. It bothered me but I just ignored it .Then the day ended and try outs came I ran to the girls locker room and got dressed and headed to the field . I started stretching and then the guys came out along with the coach .the coach blew his whistle and told us to run half a mile before we started I finished in two minutes.We then started drills and began tryouts . I did pretty good and the coach said the results would be put in tmrw . I was walking to my car when people called my name it was three people Kairi Alejandro and mattia .
Mattia- you were really good out there
I smile thanks I say
Kairi and Alejandro - for a girl
They all laugh and leave
My smile quickly turns into a frown
I brush it off and get into my car I can't be a wimp if I wanna be on this team I have to work harder then anyone else on my team just cause I'm a girl and I refuse to let those idiots ruin it all .
I go home and I see mattia Kairi and Alejandro follows me on insta and adds me on snap
What the heck who gave them my @'s I accept anyway and ofc I get put into a gc right away on snap with mattia Alejandro Kairi

I go to sleep with so much stress and not ready for the next day

I'm the morning I get dressed and go to school. I go to my first period and notice Kairi Alejandro and mattia sitting at my table why have I not noticed there in my first . I sit down and they all smile at me . Surprisingly they were actually really chill and they told me how at first they hated me but now they can tolerate me on the team
You- well I haven't even made it so you guys prolly won't even have to worry about it

Alejandro-yea all he does is talk about how your gonna change this team
Kairi- your already his favorite and the results haven't even been out out
