A cloudy day appeared making it all too well for Carlisle and Olivia to visit their special hill where they first confessed that they were each other's mate, to have a little picnic blanket layed out on the grass with their forms laying on it.

Olivia's head rested on Carlisle's arm using it as pillow, he didn't mind after all he would do or be anything for her.
The couple stared at the clouds sighing contently with eachother's presence. Ever since they confessed their love, Carlisle never really left her side nor did she. Olivia became different and more open to the Cullen family and to Bella, all of her past chains were gone and she learned how to love and to trust. Carlisle loves Olivia more than he can know about himself, he now found another reason to stay.
Here they are, relaxing under the shade of the clouds relishing their moment.
"But here's one thing I've been meaning to ask" Olivia said her gaze still fixed on the sky, her lover twisted his head to look at her "What is it Liv?"
Using the nickname he gave for her, Olivia didn't mind it was absolutely sweet of him.
Her brows creased to confusion "Why would you choose 'From the walled city' in the admirer notes? I mean cause that one was really random" she brought up, remembering how utterly confused she was receiving admirer notes with a name like that.
Carlisle chuckled for awhile, returning his gaze back to the sky as well imagining all the mist forming on the sky, beginning to explain
"Well I didn't want to pull the line of being too quick with you. I wanted to slowly let you know that you were my mate. But my first name actually means 'From the walled city' " he finished

"No!" She suddenly sits up gazing down to her boyfriend in disbelief yet amused
He followed in suit arguing "Yes"
She sighed for a moment, then nodding impressed "That was very smart"
Olivia now comes up with a mental note that Carlisle is one sneaky vampire of hers, it was totally clever of him.
"Well we're here now, aren't we?" he said putting his hand on hers, their fingers laced on the picnic blanket

The couple looked down at their shared hands "Yes we are" Olivia agreed.
"Might be a little off or cliche but my life became much better with you, Bella and everyone in your family" she admits
"They're your family too," Carlisle squeezed her hand assuring her with a smile. "Oh I've brought you something, it's an early gift" he said while fishing something from his pocket
Olivia starts to protest "You don't need to give me..."
He cuts her off "Just let me do this first, ok?"
She surrendered, letting Carlisle do whatever he needs to do. Grasping something on his hand, Olivia stared at his closed fist then to his face, Carlisle grinned when opening his fingers revealing his gift, leaving Olivia to slightly gasp in shock and stare at the beautiful object on his palm.

"The kids and I decided that it's about time we get you one" Carlisle said as she takes her left wrist, putting it on her. It was true that the kids have been bugging him to give her something special and that it was about time they have their 'mother' figure join the family officially
Olivia never leaved her gaze away from the crest "Thank you, this really means a lot Carlisle" smiling happily
"It already belongs to you from the beginning" Carlisle watches how Olivia caressed the bracelet carefully
"Soon it won't be a bracelet, if I'm gonna ask for your hand I would get you a ring next" that caught Olivia's attention.
She starts a bit nervous "Carlisle..."
"Sorry that I pressured you, it's just you don't have to worry much about it, we got all the time in the world. I just wanted to let you know that I'm sure about marrying you " He said a bit worried that he got her into a bit of pressure and anxiety of marriage.
But all he received was a cheeky smile growing on her lips "It would be my greatest honour to be your wife soon"
Surprised by her answer "Now that's music to my ears" Carlisle said and leaned in for a passionate kiss to Olivia in which she returned.
Both too happy of the thought that they were about to get married soon, and for sure have no second thoughts or doubts about it.
