In the clearing where the battle was held with the newborns, a massive fire burns in the center of it along with what's left of the newborns for the incineration. Black smoke arises from it. The Cullens were gathered around it, while the wolves were out hiding in the woods.
From the treeline behind the Cullens. Olivia was first to show up from it with Edward and Bella racing out too, bee-lining for Alice and the rest near the fire.
Carlisle sensed there was something behind so he twist his body around and sees his mate. He suddenly felt a wave of relief in him to see she was there unharmed.
"Olivia" he says under his breath, Olivia makes a run for it in his open arms. The two braced for a tight hug.
"You alright?" Carlisle asks as they break apart in arms length, scanning her body for any signs of injury.
Nodding her head assuringly "Never better"
"How long?" Edward asks Alice, pulling Bella by his side.
"A few minutes. Maybe 10?" she answered her brother.
Scoffing lightly "They timed their arrival well" Olivia muttered
"The pack needs to leave, the Volturi won't honor the truce with the werewolves" Carlisle said
Bella looks around "Where's jacob?"

In cue Jacob's russet wolf emerges from the woods along with Leah, light-silvered hair wolf, til they heard a vicious snarl one last male newborn. It turned to face the wolves, Leah quickly growled and charges at it
"Leah don't!" Edward exclaimed
They all see as the newborn maneuvers out of her way and grabs her ruff. But Jacob roared and leaps on it, tackling it out of Leah before it could kill her. Jacob and the newborn rolled in the clearing, but the newborn got his arms around Jacob's rib area and crushes a part of his bones, making him howl in agony.
Bella yells "Jacob!"
The newborn releases him sensing his defeat and watches it shift back to human form. However the other wolves were instantly there and killed the newborn. Edward and Carlisle appeared on Jacob's side who had already shifted writhing in pain, barely able to breath holding his arm where the pain must've lurked.
