I started writing this book two years ago. At the time, I'm still writing Property of Mr. Simon—my other book—and I was completely obsessed with it, that I don't have the heart to continue this book.
I feel like I don't know Alec and Tetris enough to write a story about them. That's why I unpublished this book three months later. And I believe that is the most important thing in writing a story. You should know your characters first, from their strengths to their little imperfections, even if you think it won't matter. Because before the readers connect with them, the author should be able to form a connection with them first. Otherwise, it's futile.
So yep. Cutting this short. I guess this is it.
