While Aurora showered, she couldn't help but miss the NS29. Sure, the entire ship had been falling apart, but it was home, well, home for a short while at least, and now that sense of security had been taken from her, brutally, by the thing breaking. In a way, she couldn't help but feel slightly betrayed. She had lost two of her friends in the same day. Halcy had died, and Nova was...well, wherever she was Aurora could only hope that she was safe. Part of her did understand Nova's rationalizations behind fleeing. If she had been taken too...then a rescue mission would be completely out of the question. At least here there was some hope.

However, Aurora had to remember her mother's words, no matter what. Be brave. Never surrender. She felt a spark light up in her then as she began to think about it. She was going to escape this place. She had to. For Nova. For Halcy. If there was one thing that kept Aurora strong, it was that she had a golden heart. She wanted to keep going for her friends above wanting to do this for her own freedom. Nevertheless, freedom did sound really good right now.

The door was closed behind her, and for some reason it was comforting knowing that for the slightest moment she was away from all three of those men. Who did they think they were? Wanting to use her for experimentation was, in Aurora's eyes, wrong on infinite levels. Leo had seemed a little nicer, but still, she wasn't naive, she wasn't going to just easily trust him more than Lark, who seemed like a real troll of a man.

She missed the ship that was burning. It was a good alternative to this Earthly prison, thinking on it. What would her father have done if he knew his daughter was being treated like a slave? He would probably have tried to bring down these men in any way that he possibly could. They were truly vile in Aurora's mind, that much could not be soon denied. Aurora exhaled then, getting out of the shower and preparing herself to see Leo, who was just outside that door waiting for her...

Aurora didn't get why she had to be watched like a misbehaving star pup. When she thought on the subject she couldn't help but miss Lantern, her pet. Lantern probably hadn't survived the solar flares either. If she had... well, a decade had passed. Dogs didn't live very long. Aurora wrapped her towel around her and stepped out of the comforting stream of water, and out into oblivion, because the lights in the bathroom turned off then.

"Aurora? You in there?" Leo asked.

"Yeah...what just happened?" Aurora asked him.

"System malfunction I assume," he stated. Not long after that, the lights turned back on.

Aurora closed her eyes for a moment and all she could see was Galaveri burning up. She swallowed. Nightmares seemed to bring more nightmares into her mind, Aurora had found, and she couldn't help but feel as though she was trapped inside a real, waking nightmare.

She felt a pain in her stomach, and silently willed it away as she stepped out to see Leo there with a change of clothes. A white vest and some black shorts. Brilliant. It was a good thing she was warmblooded because it looked as though they were trying to freeze her to death.

Aurora really missed Nova.

"I'll let you change," Leo said, handing her the items.

"Thank you," Aurora said, and then silently scolded herself for saying it. He didn't deserve her kindness! No thanks to him and his 'friends', she was now trapped here with no clear direction of how to leave. Nevertheless, she was still a little thankful for the fact that Leo turned his back when she was changing, and didn't watch her like a hawk in the same vile way that Lark had.

Nova would beat this guys up. The thought of which made Aurora release a gentle laugh.

"What is it?" Leo asked.
