At least, the being looked familiar. Aurora placed a hand on Colt's shoulder to get a closer look at the screen and Colt shook a little at the touch, shrugging Aurora's hand off his shoulder.

"What is it?" Aurora asked, her eyes widening a little in concern.

"I think you sometimes forget you're not from around here, Aurora...and that you're also a fire form. I'm sorry...it's just your touch took me by surprise." Colt admitted, sighing.

Aurora just gave a nod of understanding while Colt's shoulders relaxed slightly.

The group decided to move back to her room, and Aurora noticed that the sun had began to rise again. The sky was turning bluer, from what she could observe of it. The light coming into her room gave Aurora a sense of hope, as if there might be a way that she could leave this place, at some point, anyway. The trio weren't going anywhere until they had discovered who had killed the lab worker, and aside from that Lark had a new visitor who Aurora didn't believe could be trusted. Then again, Colt nor Leo were so willing to trust anyone for the time being.

It was a clear day, but Aurora's memory of who the person she had seen on the security footage was not as clear, unfortunately.

Colt ran a hand through his chocolate brown hair as he watched the footage. His brown eyes slightly reflected the sunlight so Aurora could make out golden specks in them., Sure, she shouldn't have been getting distracted by Colt, but she couldn't help but think about what he had told her, that he had dreams, and that he felt somewhat connected to her. Maybe Aurora was beginning to discover her abilities, after all. Maybe she had some kind of hypnotic aura about her.

When Colt adjusted his sleeve before pressing replay on the footage, Aurora made out a scar on it, similar to the one she had on her stomach since she was a young girl. She had asked her mother about it, but she had just told her it had no great significance, so Aurora mostly forgot about it. It still hurt from time to time, though.

Aurora adjusted the collar of her shirt, one of the ones that Leo had loaned to her, and tried to focus.

"Alright..." She trailed off.

"It's no use! The footage is too blurry for us to get a proper look at who that guy is." Colt stated then in irritation.

"Hey, no...we can do this. We'll work it out, we just need some time." Aurora stated, trying to support the two guys sitting beside her. "Maybe you two just need some brain food or something. Can I get you anything?" She asked kindly.

Colt just gave a shake of his head, too engrossed in reading status reports and updates to say much else.

"Perhaps we should leave you to it for a moment, Colt. Aurora and I will be back soon." Leo told him, as the two headed out of the room and down the hall.

"He's frustrated. He'll cool down about this soon." Aurora said, knowing all too well how Colt felt. It had certainly been strengthened from the touch earlier. She had always been an empathetic person, but she suddenly felt as though she was completely in the know on how Colt's mood shifted.

Leo just gave Aurora a smile.

"He'll be okay." Leo told her.

"I wanted to put it out there that I wasn't...I didn't somehow get in touch with someone or call on this sort of attack." Aurora stated.

"Aurora, I trust you." Leo replied.

"I care about you and Colt a lot, now, okay? I would never do that. I promise you. We're all going to be okay." Aurora stated. It was the sort of reassuring statement that she and Leo could both do with hearing. Aurora managed to remain calm in times of worry, usually, anyway. She had to replace that maternal figure in her life, and she often found herself being that for other people, or beings. She couldn't help but think about Nova for a moment. The being on the footage hadn't been Nova, though...not even close, as they were male. Aurora knew that much, at least.
