Garfield strolled downstairs to smell the sweet aroma coming from the kitchen. He quickly scurried to the kitchen to find a fresh lasagna waiting for him at the table. John was leaning up against the counter smiling happily at Garfield. This was the highlight of Johns morning. He loved cooking for Garfield. Garfield hopped up into a chair and with his favorite fork began to stab into the elegant top of the lasagna. John was staring longingly at Garfield when his nose started running. He grabs a tissue and blows his nose. As he goes to throw it out he notices the potion bottle in the trash can! He then realized that in order for the potion to work, Garfield couldn't eat the same meal within 24 hours!! John whipped around to smack the fork full of lasagna from Garfield's hand but it was too late. Garfield had already eaten the bite of lasagna. Johns knees began to buckle as he realized his fate. Garfield would find out John used a love potion on him. Garfield would know within seconds that John was in love with him.
