{ Andrea's POV }
Later in the day I go downstairs only to be pulled into the garden by Donte. To my surprise Nicolás and Luis are waiting with Isla standing next to them. She looks scared and confused.
"Samuele is out on business." Donte informs us
"Chelsea?" I ask quieter but I know everyone still heard. He nods.
"Then why are we having some secret gathering in the garden?" I question
Donte shrugs a little
"I did what you asked." Luis suddenly says
I look at him in surprise.
"Unlike your bastard of a husband, we live by a code. I don't like snakes, and angel he's one if I've ever seen one." Nicolás says
He accent and voice is really deep but somehow comforting and soothing. Which I find odd.
"I complimented on her work, and offered cash for her. He took the deal." Nicolás informs me
"Thank you. Both of you." I tell Nicolás and Luis looking at both of them
"What's going on Andrea? Are we leaving?"
Isla asks me
"You are, I'm not." I tell her
"But if he finds out.." Isla says quieter but
I know the guys heard her.
"That is exactly why you have to go with Nicolás, and his underboss Luis. I know that neither of us know them, but they are the only choice to make sure that you get far away from here." I explain to her
"But what about you?"
She asks seemingly about to cry
"I'm stronger than I look, and you know that more than anyone else. I'll be fine as long as I know you are safe." I tell her as I give a warm smile
"Are you in danger?"
Nicolás asks me seeming concerned
"Only all my life." I answer and then I continue with "Please keep her safe, she's really a hard worker. She's good, honest, and trustworthy."
"We will." Nicolás and Luis promise
I still don't fully trust them but they are the only option I have... and at this point I already like them better than Samuele.
"We have to leave before Samuele gets back."
Luis tells me
I nod and pull Isla in for a hug which surprises her.
I don't show affection often especially after Jason left. All affection ever did was allow me to get close to people only for my heart to be ripped apart each time.
"Be safe.. and if they don't treat you right in Mexico call Ander." I tell her and she nods then we pull out of the hug. Artemis has it in his will that Isla is to remain with me or Ander until she retires.
"This isn't goodbye Andrea, it can't be. I know you are a strong woman, but you are the only family I have. I'm worried for you." Isla says
"I know and I'm worried about you too. I'll find a way to handle everything." I reply
She gives me a sad smile and then her, Luis, and Nicolás left the mansion and headed back to the Spanish Mafia in Mexico.

After they left Donte and I were left alone in the mansion for at least an hour.
We decide to use that time to find some evidence.
Donte is looking for evidence to prove he's been stealing money and weapons from the mafia for whatever reason.
I wanted to help with that but also look for my own selfish reasons. I want to figure out what kind of deal Samuele has made or is making with my sperm donor Alastair. Whatever it is I'm sure Ander wouldn't be happy about it either.
I broke into the safe for Donte to find what he needed, and for him to make copies and put them back. Because we can't take any chances right now.
I also found a number on his desk under some other papers — so I copied it onto my hand for me to write it down somewhere later.
I walk out the office but not before placing a tiny recording device I ordered online inside his bookshelf.
It will transmit everything recorded to my phone.

Now we just have to wait.
The waiting can be the most dangerous part.
