Chapter 1

Lisa’s P.O.V

The sound of my alarm clock woke me up.
Ughh, I just want to sleep. But I have no choice to stand up because of my flight today.

After five minutes, I got up, took my phone from my table that was next to me.

I saw my wall clock and was shocked by the time, its only 4 am but still, I need to be up,Our flight is at 7, I still have time to go out and buy coffee at starbucks.

Yep, I’m finally going back to NYC, I have been waiting for this for almost 2 years now, And finally the time has come and by the way, I didn’t introduce myself properly…

My name is Lisa Manoban, and I’m 18 years old, I was born in Thailand, but I moved to England  when I was 7, and I lived here ever since then. Now it’s time for me to move back
To NYC.

My father is really from Thailand until he met my mother in England.

I can’t wait to see my Grandparents, it has been awhile since I visited them.

And Im finally going to see my best friend again, Jisoo. We have been friends since childhood
And it’s been 2 years since I saw her.

Well it’s because she moved back to NYC when we were little, but we spend summer together and now I’m going to be in the same school as her, I’m really happy.

I walked through my room to the shower room to shower so I can buy my coffee and pack.

I got out of the shower and took a towel to dry my body. After that I brushed my hair and teeth.
I went in my room and change , I went to the stairs to check on my little brother JK, I saw my brother
Playing his X-box, as always, he has always been my caring brother since im the oldest I would protect him from everything and since im going back to NYC by myself he would be alone here.

My brother saw me staring at him*

“Oh hey sis” my brother greeted

Hey lil’ bro, you hungry?, I asked

“not really, I already ate when mom and dad was here” my brother answered

Oh, where’s mom and dad?

“I don’t know, they just said they’ll be back before you leave” my brother answered

Oh, you want something from starbucks?, I’ll be going to buy something.

“nah” brother answered

Oh ok’, I walked through the living room and got out from the house.
I got my keys to my baby so I can go with this and have a little more time
Wasting from walking.

Btw this is my baby

I got in my car and drove to starcbucks

*after getting coffee*
I’m already done packing and its already 6:30 , I went to the kitchen to see if My parents were there, and I saw them.
