Chapter 22: DOUBLE TROUBLE (Part One)

MIRAGE'S POV

Gym. I have to go to the gym for Physical Ed. Just great.

Bakit ba kasi bago mag tanghali naka-schedule ang P.E. class ko? And the best part, walang aircon sa gym kaya sobrang init. Second, hindi ako sporty na tao kaya hindi ko gusto ang P.E.

Mag isa lang ako naglalakad papuntang gym. Pinauna ko na sila Vee at Mikey. Sila ang kasama ko tuwing P.E. every Monday, samantalang si Sakura, Lumina at Pisces naman every Wednesday.

It's very dreadful, for me at least. Imagine having P.E twice every week? It's basically a nightmare for me.

While I was still sulking, someone tap my shoulder. I turned and saw it was the vice president of the student council. Hindi ko matandaan ang buong pangalan niya, pero sure ako na Travinsky ang apelyedo niya.

"Excuse me, you're a friend of Reed right?" she hurriedly said. Her green eyes keeps moving.

"Who?"

"Aries Reed."

For one thing, her beauty is mesmerizing. "Yes. Anong maitutulong ko?"

"I'm sorry for bothering you but could you please give these papers to her. I'm having an emergency." ang bilis ng pagsalita niya. Yet she's still pretty.

"No problem," kinuha ko na yung mga papel. Her fingers were smooth. "Sasabihin ko na rin na may emergency ka." I smiled.

"Oh bol'shoy spasibo! She might be still in the office. Goodbye!" and she ran off. This is my first time to see her up close. Nakikita ko lang siya kapag may assembly or may announcement.

I guess I was still in dazed while walking, dahil hindi ko namalayan na nasa harapan na ko ng pinto ng student council.

Marahan akong kumatok at hinintay kung may sasagot. Pero nang walang tumugon ay dahan dahan kong pinihit ang doorknob para i-check kung bukas. And it was.

Sumilip ako sa siwang kung may tao, pero katahimikan lang ang bumungad saakin. Kaya pumasok ako at marahan sinara ang pinto.

"Shouldn't you be at your class right now?"

Literal na napatalon ako sa gulat. Nakaupo si Ms. Aries sa likuran ng kanyang desk at may binabasang mga papel. She's looking at me, which kind of feels intimidating. Siya lang din ang nag-iisang tao rito.

"Uhm. . . ano kasi. . ." nakayuko kong sambit.

"What is it? Hurry up. I don't have much time to spare." she said while still gazing.

Mabilis akong lumapit at ipinakita ang hawak kong mga papel. "Pinapabigay ni Ms. Travinsky."

Tinignan niya lang ang mga papel.

I cleared my throat. "May em--"

"Did she say she have an emergency?" she said without smiling and slightly tilted her head. Her eyes locking with mine.

I looked away. "Ah oo. Pero nagmamadali na siya kanina kaya hindi na niya nasabi kung bakit."

She heaved a long sigh. "As always. Her same old excuse. Minsan nga nag dududa na ako sa mga excuses niya." inabot na niya yung mga papel. "But thanks anyway."
