Briar Rose's POV

As the sun went down, Matthew and I decided to walk home. One by one, clouds would form and cause rain clouds. "I hope this week goes by quickly. I hate Bionic Day and Bionic Week!" Matthew hissed. "I'll call you tonight about the protest." I told him. "Cool. Are we going to walk around with posters or something?" he asked. "For some of it." I said. His eyes widened and he looked at me. "Are we going to get arrested?" Matthew asked. "Uhhmmm..." I began. "Briar." he said. "I don't know, maybe!" I hesitated. "Oh gosh." he stated pulling off a smal giggle. "I want to stand up for what's right, even if I get arrested. There's many role models that stood up for what they believed in! For example, Rosa Parks, Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr.!" I told Matt. He nodded. Before I knew it, we were home.

"Briar Rose, are you sure about this protest?" Matthew asked while we walked onto his porch. "Very sure." I replied. "I want to support you and all but I'm afraid no one will care. And I don't want you to get hurt during this." Matthew confessed. I sighed. "I'm thankful that you care about me, truly I am but, I will die trying for what I believe in." I replied strongly. Then, I hugged him.

It started raining as I walked home. People passed by me with their new bionics. They either ran fast with super spead, had upgraded metal or whatever material body parts, or were intelligent and super advanced. Before I was born, my mother had gotten bionics to make her super intelligent and my father got bionics to make him have super strength. I guess those bionics were passed down to me when I was born. I finally made it home when I saw my parents standing on the porch. They were obviously angry because they're arms were crossed and their faces were past red as a tomato. I crossed myself and then walked inside my house.
