Kellan's POV

God dammit! Where are you?!

Suddenly I felt the need for blood and knew that I needed to calm down. The mate bond was getting stronger and stronger probably because Amber will be going into heat soon. I plan to find her before it starts.

Right now though I'm driving through several towns, following my mate's scent.

These past three days have made me gone crazy.

I have even hired people to track her down.

Speaking of my trackers, I felt my phone buzzing in my pocket.

Pulling it out, it had the number of a man I assigned.

As fast as I could I answered his call.

"Have you found anything?" I rushed out.

"Yeah, I have a trail in Hawaii," his gruff voice answered through the phone.

"I'll be there."

Guess I'm going to Hawaii.

***after plane ride***

She here.

I can feel it.

Her scent is everywhere.

But what angers me is that I smell a male's scent mixed with her own.

Taking deep breaths, I followed the lingering smells to a large tree house in the middle of the woods.

Light were on and I heard shuffling around inside.

Oh please, no!

I ran inside not caring if I just broke an entry.

"What the he-" I heard and a man looked at me with hatred.

He smelt of Amber.

"Where is she!" I cut him off.

"Get out of my house, you have no right being here!" He pointed towards the door.

"She's my mate, your a werewolf so you know she'll be going into heat soon. Now where is she!" I screamed with power lacing every word.

His eyes turned black and an aura came off of him that frightened me.

This man is an alpha, and a pretty strong one at it too.

"Get. Out. Of. My. House!" He ordered me and I was forced to bow my head.

"But she is my mate," I whispered, knowing he could hear me.

"Then why is she here?! What did you do that made her come here?!"

"I-I almost died from her not accepting me as her mate. My soul was slowly slipping from my grasp. Please, help me," I begged, praying with all my heart and soul he would help.

"I can tell by your scent that she is your mate, but I've never heard of a vamp and wolf being mates," he scrunched his brows.

"Her wolf chose me," I said, still bowing my head, looking at the wood floor.

"It just doesn't make sense," I heard him mumble.

"Please," I begged once more, loosing hope.

He sighed and sat on the couch.

I was surprised when I saw his head in his eyes, he looked like me when I couldn't find Amber.

"How close w-were you too?" I whispered.

"She left for home about 10 minutes ago," he mumbled.

I perked up and ran to the door but not before hearing him whisper a 'I'm sorry.'

Running out of the house, I had heard glass breaking inside. The impact of it breaking sounded like someone threw it hard against a wall.

That was my proof that they were pretty close, and that shattered my heart.

Why couldn't that be me?

Back and forth through the forest, I came across a girl with her back to me.

Her hair was long and shining under the afternoon sun.

Something within me kicked in and her aura consumed me whole.

Pushing her against a tree, I skimmed her beautiful, flawless face.

My heart stopped when I saw her eyes fall and her body went limp.

"Amber!" I screamed out bloody murder.

I must have pushed her to hard into the tree.

Blood was staining the back of her head and her heart beat was faint.

"Stay with me," I whispered, picking her up and running out of the woods to the tree house.

I have no clue where anything is here, and I can't take her to a normal hospital so there's only one thing to do.

I have to go back to the person she- gulp-kissed.

I kicked the door open with my foot yelling for help.

The man came down the stairs, with alarm.

"What did you do," he growled, eyes turning a dark black.

"Where's your pack doctor?" I gulped.

"A vampire cannot cross our territory lined. I will take her," he snarled at me.

I sighed and looked back down at my beautiful mate.

"I love you," I whispered and kissed her forehead before handing her to the man.

He took her with an emotionless face.

I watched as he ran from the tree house with my soul mate.

I need her warmth to surround me. Her smile and green eyes that stopped me in my place. Whenever I see her, it's like the whole world stops just for us.

You will be okay, and I will get my mate back.
