Payton: Y/n I heard a familiar voice shout as my fragile body hit the water. I was about to swim up to the surface when I realised my foot was stuck in the vent. All I could hear was muffled voices as I tried to get it out. It didn't work, nothing was working. My vision started getting blurry and I saw someone jump in, they swam over to me and tried to unhook my foot from the vent. He finally did it and pulled me up to the surface. ------------------------ I began coughing and I gagged up some water. Payton: oh shit I didn't mean to nearly drown you. He laughed as he helped me sit up. Sit up? ON A BED?!?! Y/n: hold up where am I? I asked as I regained my breath, trying not to have a panic attack. Payton: er- the same place as yesterday? He said confused and he rubbed my back. Y/n: wait I'm not at the hype house? He looked over at me and laughed. Payton: that's next week Y/n. What? Y/n: oh... so what was the water? I asked looking down at the puddle of water beneath me. Payton: you wouldn't wake up so I tried to squeeze some water from my bottle but the cap came off and well er- I kinda ended up pouring a whole load on you... he said as he looked away. Oh-
Payton: anyway can you get ready so we can go? He asked as he got of the bed. Y/n: no... Pay what did we do yesterday? I asked while trying not to seem suss. Payton: we messed around? Watched movies and I- I er... I mentioned Joey's death. THE REST WAS A DREAM?!?! Hold up Y/n: okay, well I'm staying here I don't feel too good. Was all I said before I snuggled back into his bed. It smelled just like him? His cologne just lingered. Payton: wait seriously? He scratched his head as he sat back down on the bed. Y/n: mhm I hummed back to him. He looked down at me all innocently laying in his bed, the cover pulled up to my nose. He shook his head and flicked his shoes off, before pulling the cover up and getting into the bed next to me. Damn I'm nervous... but why? He's my friend That I may or may not be in love with... oh-
Payton: In that case I'm staying with you I WILL PEE MY PANTS!!! PLEASE GO OUT!!! DO NOT STAY WITH ME!!! Goodbye! I giggled nervously before cuddling into him, his arms wrapped around me as he turned onto his side. Payton: you cold? He asked in a soft whisper. It sent shivers down my spine and I reacted to it. Y/n: no I replied with an emotionless expression. He looked down at me and just chuckled
Y/n: Pay? It was silent, a comfortable silence but I just wanted to know one thing... He moved his head and hummed "mhm" back to me to indicate that he was listening. Y/n: how do you- All I have to say is "how do you feel about us" It's easy just do it. Y/n: how do you always smell so damn good? Fuck. He chuckled and didn't answer me. Now it was an awkward silence. Y/n: so you know how we are best friends? And you mean the absolute word to me? Well do you... do you think, that maybe, possibly. One day, perhaps in the near future, or far future that's up to you but you know it would be kinda cool if it wasn't too far because then I'd be like an old lady and you'd probably be married by then with like te- Payton: Y/n. He scolded. Y/n: so I guess what I'm trying to say is... how do you feel about me? Like are we just friends because I'm totally cool with that b- He quickly closed the conversation with a kiss. This time it was real, not a dream, just me and Payton... no one else.
Payton: does that answer your question? He asked as he connected our foreheads. I looked back down at his lips Y/n: hmm kinda but also not I giggled and he chuckled before leaning in to kiss me again... our lips moved in sync for a few minutes until- Joanne: get your butts downstai- oh, nope its fine Faith can help. FAITH!!! She walked back out to let us continue or little make out session.
Y/n: okay... I can finally confirm that you are a good kisser. I giggled. Payton: eh you're not too bad I guess He cupped my face and placed a kiss on my nose, causing me to scrunch it in response. Payton: so yesterday we were just friends and now we're... well... this, what's the sudden change? I looked at him and just smiled. Y/n: I mean we could always go back to just being friends of you want, I'm not complaining. I said while trying to keep in a laugh. He chuckled. Payton: nah, I like this... I like you Y/n: well funny thing is I like me too I just smiled and he gave me a crook smile Y/n: sorry you were being serious... okay well I like you too His smile grew bigger and he wrapped his arms back around me, squishing me slightly. Y/n: woah it's cool being this close to you. Payton looked at me like I was crazy and just continued to hug me. For a couple of minutes it was just a comfortable silence as we just looked into each others eyes. That was until
Faith: YOU KISSED!!! AHHH!!! MY SHIP!!! A screaming Faith came into the room, jumping on the bed. Y/n: mine I said as I hugged into Payton a little more Faith: AHHH!!! Okay Faith chill, we knew this was gonna happen. BUT YOU GUYS KISSED!!! She mentally told herself to stop while me and Payton just laughed at her antics. Payton: yes Faith we kissed, now chill.
