I said as my feet played with Payton's
Payton: modern all the way
He replied softly and moved a strand of hair behind my ear
Y/n: why do I always die when you do that?
I giggled as I looked deep into his eyes
Payton: what this?
He said and tucked another stand behind my ear
Y/n: stawp
I whined and played with his hair, roughing it up.
Payton: not the hairrr
He chuckled and rubbed his foot against mine a lil harder.
Y/n: erm excuse me, your foot is attacking mine
I said all defensive
Payton: well your hands were attacking my hair just a minute ago
I tilted my head, looking at Payton confused he did the same just to mock me.
I extended my arms and squeezed his hips, making him let out at little "ah" as he jolted back.
Payton: you're so dead
He laughed as his arms reached over to me, tickling me in all my most ticklish places
Y/n: s-s-stop. O-okay I'm s-Orry
I laughed as he continued to torture me
He stopped and I hopped on top of him, laying my head on his shoulder, turning ever so slightly so my lips touched his.
Y/n: I love you
I said against his lips before pressing them together.
Payton: I love you too
He replied and cuddled me, my face finding the crook of his neck almost instantly.

After about a few minutes of silence I was bored.

Y/n: babyyy
I said, extending the "y"
Payton: yeees?
He replied doing the same
Y/n: can we go and watch the sunset?
I asked as I looked outside to the gorgeous pink and orange sky
Payton: you remember how to the up there?
He asked and I quickly nodded, jumping off and him and dragging the blanket with me.
Payton took the pillows and we went up to the attic, from the attic there was a tilted window which led right to the roof, I climbed up pulling the blanket with me, Payton threw me the pillows before climbing up to join me.

We laid the blankets and pillows out to make a little bed looking thing.
Payton laid down first and I laid next to him my head placed on his chest.

Y/n: lookie
I said as I looked over to the sunset
Payton: nearly as pretty as you
He replied and looked over at me
Y/n: you big softy
I joked as I squeezed his cheeks.

Payton: let's play questions, I'll ask you a question, you answer and then you get to ask me.
Y/n: mkay
I said looking over at the sky
Payton: when did you realise you had feelings for me?
As he asked that question it kinda threw me off, I don't even know
Y/n: well I had a dream that we dated, I'm guessing I liked you before but I must have been ignoring my feelings since you were my best friend.
I replied honestly
Y/n: okay my turnnn
I said enthusiastically
Y/n: if I didn't make the first move would we still be friend right now?
I asked that and I saw Payton go red
Payton: yes.
He answered kinda quietly
Y/n: awe baby
I giggled and placed my hand on his chest
Payton: okay me now
He said as he pondered his next question
Y/n: have you ever liked one of my friends?
He asked and I looked at him shocked.
Y/n: Payyy, okay this was AGES ago so it doesn't matter anymore
I said as I got ready to say the name
Y/n: okay so when I was younger, before I met J I kinda like Jax, after J I liked Ant a little, but Ant and Avani are my shippp
I said and realised I fuck up there and then.
Y/n: omg Payton I didnt- I didn't think about it I-
I didn't know what to say next.
I knew how Payton used to feel about Avani, Love Letter was about her, he fell in love so many signs that she felt the same until it just stopped, they never spoke about it and then she starts dating his best friend.
Payton: it fine, I've got you now
He says as he looks me in the eyes
Y/n: you know what's crazy
I said as I gazed at him, also getting lost in his hazel brown eyes.
Payton: what?
He asked softly, nudging me to tell him
Y/n: this- what we have, this is real love
I said smiling, his hands finding my face, cupping it.
Payton: mhm, yes it is.
He replied and pulled me in for another kiss.

Our kiss felt magical, the spark was definitely there, fireworks going off.
But of course it got ruined by the RAIN
Y/n: ahh!
I screamed as I pulled away from his lips, looking up at the sky, raindrops falling on my face.
Payton did the same.
His lips slightly parted, eyes closed as his face gathered up raindrops.

Y/n: fuck you're so hot
I said as I looked at him
Payton: fuck you're so hot
He chuckled mocking me
Y/n: just being honest
I said as I got up, throwing the pillows back into the house, before sliding through the window myself, Payton soon following.

We got into his bedroom, using new blankets and pillows since we soaked the other ones.
We laid on Payton's bed, legs tangled, my face in his chest, slowly drifting off and his hands found my hair, getting his fingers stuck in it as he soothed me off to sleep.
