Chapter 3

Logan's POV
I open my eyes to see a hospital, so white and clean, I think to myself. Roman called me an emotionless robot, I think...? And... and I can't recall, at all a single thing. Virgil and Patton walked in. I sat up
'I'm so stupid...' I say, turning my gaze towards the window,
'What?! No, you are not Logan!' Patton exclaimed. I sighed.
'You held a hand for me... you were there.'
'We know' said Virgil
'But couldn't reach for me' I mumble. Out of the corner of my eye I see Virgil and Patton share a nervous glance to each other.
'Logan' Patton said softly, kneeling at my bed, 'could you tell us what happened?'
Silence
'I-I dont remember' I lied, cringing that I actually lied to them.

~one week earlier~

Roman's POV
'Oh shut up, nerdy wolverine!' I say to Logan,
What?! No, I didn't mean that. Stupid. Your such an idiot Roman.
'Wait, no, I didn't mean that... I'm sorry Logan'
'It's quite alright Roman'
Logan smiles at me. I smile back.

~time skip~

We (Patton, Virgil, Logan and I) we're sitting at the kitchen table, not doing anything in particular, when I came up with a fabulous idea.
'Hey guys, I've come up with a really cool song, do you wanna hear it?' I say, as I remember the lyrics to the song I wrote for the famILY.
'Sure kiddo!'
'Yeah whatever'
'I think I will sit this one out' Logan replies to me. But this song was important! Why wouldn't he want to hear it? I guess my thoughts were expressed on my face because Logan said to me,
'Roman, I know you think that all your songs are truly the best, but I really don't want to see it'.
'What? But you need to hear this song!'
'Stop being selfish and arrogant Roman, I don't care about your stupid song and I don't want to hear it!'. Then Logan walked into his room.
I was shocked. I apologised to him not long ago, yet he goes and says that?! Didn't it mean anything to him?!
Y'know what? Right back at you Logan.
