Chapter 20: juliet

school; monday morning

Beomgyu's POV

Beomgyu: H-hello, Yeonjun.

Yeonjun: Hi. What are you busy with?

He doesn't remember? Thank goodness.

Beomgyu: Just drawing.

Yeonjun: Can I see?

Yeonjun came near beside me and he looked at my drawing. I was moving myself away without being obvious from him because his face was near once again to me like last night. I don't want to remember what happened last night.

Yeonjun: It's nice.

Beomgyu: T-thank you, Yeo-yeonjun.

Yeonjun went back in his seat while I was left unconscious.

Taehyun: What's wrong with you? Your face is red.

I was startled when Taehyun suddenly appeared out of nowhere. I touched my face, and it was a bit hot, before answering him back.

Beomgyu: It's too hot today, that's why.

Taehyun: Really? I'm feeling cold right now though.

Beomgyu: We have different types of skin, Taehyun.

Taehyun: By the way, before I forgot, Mrs. Kwon is calling you at the Faculty.

Beomgyu: Why? Did I do something wrong?

Taehyun: No, it's for our Theater Play.

I gasped. I forgot that next Friday will be our Foundation Day, the day when we'll present our Romeo and Juliet and Romoe. I'm already nervous.

Taehyun: Yeonjun. Mrs. Kwon is also calling you.

Yeonjun: O-okay.

I guess the teachers are now finalizing the characters so that we could practice already. I hope I won't be Romeo. Please.

Mrs. Kwon: Beomgyu, you will be the play's main lead. Is it okay with you?

Beomgyu: Mrs. Kwon, b-but...

Mrs. Kwon: Okay. Nice. You're Romeo.

Mrs. Kwon: And you, Yeonjun right? Is it okay if you are Romoe?

Yeonjun: B-but I can be Romeo.

Mrs. Kwon: Great! Now you're Romoe.
