Chapter 19: Caught

Everyone got back to the house safely. They also thanked the security guards and the driver. The take out they bought was for dinner.

Whilst the others were preparing dinner, Sonic put the newly bought suit on again. He asked Shadow to take a picture of him before posting it on his social media accounts.

He did the same with Shadow, just to update their fans. He also decided to do a short live. Shadow had already gone back downstairs with the others. Sonic took his suit off and changed into his casual clothing, and also placing the camera on his table before turning the live on.

Many of their fans had were already viewing his live as soon as he turned it on.

"Good evening everyone" he greeted in a cheery tone to at least brush the formal welcoming off

With that, he received tons of comments from them, asking him about the party tomorrow and to how they were.

"Well, the party will be happening soon. I'm so excited about it. I also bought my attire just lately. I hope you all have also been doing well and are having fun" Sonic smiled at the camera

"Oh, my suit? Here. This is what it looks like," Sonic held it up in the camera for them to see

"I really like this design. It certainly suits my taste and style. We're also really close with the designer. He is very nice and an expert too" Sonic continued

"So how are you all doing today? Did you guys have dinner?" He asked, leaning in to adjust the camera, placing the suit down

He took his time reading some of the comments.

"I haven't eaten yet but," Sonic grabbed the bag of chips just beside his bed. He placed them beside him as he opened one

"I'm really hungry now" he said, eating a mouthful of them

He was still eyeing the comments before he heard a knock on his door. Sonic's focus turned away from the camera and looked into the door. He covered his mouth and hastily chew on them before he swallowed then talk

"Come in" said Sonic

The door opened to reveal Shadow. He walked beside Sonic and looked at the camera, giving their fans a wave

"It's dinner" Shadow answered

Sonic looked back at the camera. He took his phone and set his chips down on the table.

"You heard him. Have a nice evening and make sure to eat well. See you guys next time!" Sonic spoke before turning the live off

"Hey, this is really an unhealthy habit of yours. Instead of having a proper meal when hungry, you keep on eating chips first. Do you want to be scold by our manager again?"

"No sir. I'm already scolded by you anyway" Sonic bit his bottom lip. Shadow sighed and placed a hand on the other's shoulder.

"Argh, jeez. Whatever. Let's just go downstairs and have dinner already. The others are waiting" said Shadow before they got downstairs.

Everyone was having fun talking. They enjoyed their meal. All of them also helped on cleaning the table.

They got back to their usual 'routine' after dinner. Playing board games and video games, watching movies, trying new challenges and such. But tonight, everyone gathered at the living room and talked about the party tomorrow and as to how they were going to part ways after the event.

It was fun and also emotional on conversing about that matter. They decided to just change the topic into a funny one.

It's not as if they'll never see each other again. But like said, holding events and gatherings like this are pretty rare.
