Sarah is looking blankly at the scene in front of her.

Umira is there with her family, so is Amira with her in-laws.

Mrs. Malik has invited them as well. Azhar and Aahil haven't come back yet.

"Sarah, do you have any idea what's going on?" Amira asked her

"I don't know Amira, maybe Umira knows to ask her." Sarah said

"I asked her but she is saying let Aahil come back you will know," Amira said with a huff

"so tell me about yourself. How are you doing? Did you both do it?" Sarah asked to change the topic

"Allah! Sarah have some shame," Amira said with a gasp

Her cheeks tinted red in shyness..

"aww someone is blushing huh? Tell me if you did it or not. Why feeling shy? I'm like your sister." Sarah said

"we didn't," Amira said blushing

"poor Azhar has to bear this torture." Sarah commented

"congratulations for your marriage Amira," suddenly someone said

Amira turn around with angry face

It was none other than Umer.

"thank you very much Umer bhai jaan," Amira replied with a tight lipped smile

"are you happy with that Azhar?" Umer spat Azhar name like it burned his tongue

"Yes I'm and I will be happy if you take his name with respect. He is my husband." Amira said and hold Sarah's hand

"come Sarah we should go somewhere else," Amira said and drag her away from Umer

"How long will you hide Sarah? Soon I will catch you baby," Umer smirked and thought

Aahil and Azhar both came back and got shocked to see everyone there.

"Ammi Jaan what's happening here?" Aahil asked

"Aahil you came, I told you I have a surprise for you didn't I? So it's your surprise," Mrs. Malik said

"what is he doing here?" Aahil asked pointing towards Umer angrily

"he is here because he has every right to stay here. After all today is a big day for his sister and brother," Mrs. Malik said making Aahil confused

Sarah also didn't understand what's going on.

"What do you mean?" Aahil asked

"Aahil I have fixed your and Umira's marriage. And today I'm going to fix the date of engagement and announce it." Mrs. Malik dropped the bomb

Sarah felt like someone dropped molten lava in her ears.

She knows that Aahil won't be her ever but still it's hurting her. She left from there without wasting any moment ignoring Amira who was calling her.

On the other side Aahil was standing there like a statue. He didn't understand what just happened.

"When did you do it?" Aahil asked his mother

He doesn't know why but he isn't happy with it. His heart is in pain. And the reason is unknown to himself.

"does it matter Aahil? I did it, isn't it enough?" Mrs. Malik said

"Yes ammi jaan it is enough." Aahil said with fake smile

No one caught it except Azhar. He knows very well that Aahil feels something for Sarah but he won't accept it or maybe he doesn't understand it.

"congratulations bhai jaan congratulations Umira I am really happy for you both." Amira said

She really liked Umira and knew that one day she will end up with her brother only.

On one side Aahil is hurt and on the other side Sarah is dying in pain.

Sarah has locked her room and is crying her heart out.

" why are you crying now huh? Didn't you know that he is a forbidden fruit for you? Whom you can see but never taste or touch. And you only like him right then why crying?" she asked herself

"are you really that stupid Sarah? Don't you know that you love him? That's why the thought of his being married to someone else isn't settling well with you." her subconscious said making her aware of her own feelings

And this realisation again made her cry hard.

At night time Aahil came with food for Sarah as he noticed she wasn't there when everyone was having dinner and Amira also said that suddenly she left

"Sarah," he called her name as her door is locked

He knocked on the door loudly.

Sarah opened the door and looked at him. He can see her swollen eyes but didn't ask why.

"do you want something?" she asked him

"Yes you haven't had dinner so I bought it for you." He said

"you got time to think about me impressive," Sarah

"thank you but I'm not hungry." Sarah said but like Aahil will listen to her

He pushed her lightly and entered her room.

He placed the plate on the table.

"eat it Ms. Talkative you need power to talk much." Aahil said

"you should not be here Aahil. Now you're engaged to someone. It's inappropriate for you to be here in a girls room that too alone" Sarah said

"I'm not engaged yet Sarah and I can and will go anywhere because it's my house." Aahil said

"Yes it's your house only. Can I ask you something?" Sarah asked

" Hmm" Aahil hummed

"are you happy with this marriage?" Sarah asked

Aahil felt angry suddenly by her question. Can't she shut her mouth for sometime

"Yes I'm happy, why shouldn't I? Umira is every thing a man want in his wife, she is beautiful, well cultured and most importantly a Muslim girl and ammijan has chose her for me so how can't I be happy?" Aahil asked her with a smile correction fake smile

Sarah's heart broke more by hearing it.

He is happy

he wanted it.

He doesn't love her.

Sarah give him a sad smile

" yeah true, congratulations and all the best for your new life," Sarah said

"thank you now I should go you're correct I should not be alone with a girl at night. What will Umira think about me, good night." Aahil said And stormed out from her room

Sarah sat down on the bed and looked at the door from where Aahil left.

"you're happy Aahil and I don't want to make you sad at any cost. And to keep you happy I have to do something and I know what it is." Sarah thought and wiped her tears.
