"LIIIIV, bakit ang himbing pa ng tulog mo? Jusko, maaga raw kayo sabi ni Daniel," sigaw ni Mama habang niyuyugyog ang balikat ko.

"Una na sila, Ma," I grabbed a pillow and put it over my face, "District meet naman. Tell Kuya good luck."

Mama removed the pillow, so I was forced to open my eyes and look at her, "Are you sure? Maaga ang work ng Dad mo ngayon. He can't drive you to school."

I covered my head with a blanket, "Yeah, I can commute."

I could just take over some of the tasks later para may ambag ako kahit papaano.

It was already past 9AM nang napagdesisyunan kong bumangon. Before doing so, I opened my IG to have an update kung ano nang nangyayari sa school based on my friends' stories.

Tapos na pala iyong opening ceremony. Kuya Daniel was the one who lighted the torch. Running behind him were some other athletes including Gene and Pierre. Ang daming nagtitilian sa background. Seriously though, with the load of requirements, how do these athletes manage their physiques so well?

"Pumasok ka pa talaga," Asher lightly flicked my forehead when he saw me. He was in his volleyball jersey, and his front hair is tied up.

I glared at him, but he just laughed and draped his arm over my shoulders, "Lavander na lavander ka ha."

It was my turn to flick his forehead, "Purple is different from lavander, dumbass."

Dahil hindi nga ako athlete, I was just wearing an oversized purple shirt that I tied in a knot, white capri pants, and purple sneakers. I tied my hair in a ponytail and wore a white cap.

"Yeah, whatever. Tara na nga sa..." He dramatically waved his free hand, "STEM-A booth."

Hinayaan ko na lang si Asher na hilain ako. My eyes widened when we arrived at our booth, "What the— wow."

Just wow.

Our section prepared a wedding booth and a food booth, with the latter set up like a restaurant for the wedding reception. Ang ganda ng decorations. Fried rice, pasta, waffle, hotdogs, and shakes are available in our food booth.

"Kain tayo mamaya," aya ko kay Asher.

"We have a game against Central High School later kaya kain na agad tayo after ng kasal nila," Asher suddenly covered my eyes with his hand, "I'll just tell you when it's done, sobrang eyesore," he chuckled.

I slapped his hand, "Dami mong alam."

When he put his hand down, I realized what he meant. Yes, an eyesore.

We do not even know who the girl was, but I think she's either a grade 8 or grade 9 student. She and Kuya Kevin, a freaking Grade 12 student, are standing side by side, wit baby girl's arms hooked around Kuya Kevin's arm. She was pouting while looking at her friends who were just teasing her. I suspect they were the ones who paid for the 'wedding'. It's funny how baby girl is trying to act like she did not want the 'wedding', but she was actually blushing and grinning from ear to ear. Kuya Kevin has his left hand inside his pocket and seems nonchalant about it.

"Selos ka?" Asher looked at me with an arched brow.

"Bakit naman ako magseselos?" I made a face, "Gross. Child abuse."
